  • Publication number: 20020175238
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide a magnetic tape cartridge, in which the mating of the lower half and the upper half can be easily performed and is applicable to automated assembly, when the magnetic tape cartridge having a sliding door is assembled. The rib 81 projects from the upper section of the first guide wall 24a in the direction of the opposite second guide wall 24b. On the other hand, the groove 55, which faces the rib 81, is carved on the inner side surface 54a of the sliding door 5. The rib 81 engages with the groove 55, thereby restricting the vertical displacement of the sliding door 5. Also the engagement of the rib 81 and the groove 55 guides the sliding door 5 in the guide channel freely.

  • Publication number: 20020141664
Abstract: At least one branched chamber extends and diverges from a side wall of a pouch body. The branched chamber has an optional pouring spout at its distal end to permit the removal of the contents of the pouch. A readily unsealable seal member is optionally included to partition the branched chamber from the pouch body, thus providing a pouch wherein two or more different materials are mixed prior to removal from the pouch. A pouch having this structure provides excellent rupture protection of the readily unsealable seal member caused from, for example, handling, shipping, or dropping of the pouch.

  • Patent number: 5527616
Abstract: A laminate for flexible packaging and a process for preparing the same. The laminate for flexible packaging is obtained by joining a plurality of flexible blanks via layers of an adhesive agent, wherein the layers of said adhesive agent are layers of an isocyanate-terminated polyurethane type hot-melt resin that is crosslinked with the moisture, the residual amount of an organic solvent in said laminate is 10 .mu.g/m.sup.2 or smaller per a unit inner surface, the peeling strength at 25.degree. C. is 250 g/15 mm of width or greater, and a peeling strength retentivity at 80.degree. C. is 30% or greater of the peeling strength at 25.degree. C.

  • Patent number: 5436043
Abstract: A plastic container made of olefin resins having frosted appearance which gives excellent shade-off, deep and high-grade impression, and a process for producing the same. The process produces a plastic container having the above-mentioned appearance maintaining good reproducibility and excellent moldability. That is, a frosted plastic container wherein at least the outer surface of the plastic container is formed of a blend of plural kinds of olefin resins, one resin (A) forming the layer of said blend exists as a continuous phase, another resin (B) exists as a disperse phase, and the disperse phase which has an aspect ratio (ratio of long diameter/short diameter) of 6 or smaller and in which the grains exist having grain sizes (short diameters) of from 0.3 to 20 .mu.m, has an area percentage of at least 15% or larger relative to the whole sectional area.

  • Patent number: 5131556
Abstract: The present invention relates to an easy-open vessel lid which is composed of a laminate of a metal foil and a resin and has opening weakened line. A reinforcing layer of a thermoplastic resin is formed independently from the resin of the laminate at least on the outer peripheral side of a part most protruding in the opening-initiating direction of an inside introducing weakened line to cover said weakened line astride of said weakened line. By this reinforcing layer, ribbon breaking can be effectively prevented, and opening by shearing of the lid member along the weakened lines can be performed assuredly and smoothly.

  • Patent number: 4915289
Abstract: A container composed of a plurality of container materials the opposing parts of which are sealed by heat sealing, wherein at least an opening start part of the sealed portion is of a laminated structure consisting of the plurality of container materials and an intermediate material inserted therebetween. The intermediate material and one of the container materials are tightly sealed, and the intermediate material and another of the container materials are sealed easily peelably. The inside end edge of the easily peelable seal portion is positioned more toward the center of the container than the inside end edge of the tight seal portion. At an opening start position, the outside end edge of the easily peelable seal portion is positioned more toward the center of the container than the outside end edge of the tight seal portion, and the intermediate material is provided so as to jut outwwardly of a heat sealing flat portion of a container flange.
