Publication number: 20230204451Abstract: Accurate damage diagnosis is obtained using strain, typified by low-cycle fatigue damage and the like, representing a majority of the damage from age deterioration of a machine facility. A rotating electrical machine damage diagnostic system evaluates fatigue damage in a component of a rotating electrical machine based on a sensor. A strain range calculating section determines elastic strain and elastic stress in an evaluation area of the rotating electrical machine in terms of a quadratic function of a rotational speed of the rotating electrical machine detected by the sensor. Conversion of the elastic strain range and the elastic stress range into a total strain range is performed and a fatigue damage rate is calculated in the evaluation area of the rotating electrical machine from the total strain range resulting from the conversion. An integration section is provided for cumulating the fatigue damage rates to calculate a cumulated fatigue damage rate.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 26, 2021Publication date: June 29, 2023Inventors: Yasushi HAYASAKA, Masaaki ENDO, Atsushi FUKUNAGA

Patent number: 7762083Abstract: In a gas turbine plant and a gas turbine power generator plant, as a device of reducing the heat transfer from the gas turbine to the compressor, for instance, an air flow path for circulating part of compressed air from the compressor toward the gas turbine is formed between the gas turbine and the compressor. With the air flow path, which is a heat transfer reducing device, the heat conducted from the gas turbine to the compressor can be reduced by cooling or interception, and accordingly the temperature on the compressor side does not rise high, making it possible to prevent the performance of the compressor from deteriorating.Type: GrantFiled: November 17, 2004Date of Patent: July 27, 2010Assignee: Hitachi, Ltd.Inventors: Yasushi Hayasaka, Masaru Sekihara

Publication number: 20090010760Abstract: A method of correcting the balance of a gas turbine formed so that a balance between the generator side shaft end of a rotor and the shaft end of the gas turbine can be corrected within the range of service rotational speed. In the method, after the rotor is assembled in a casing, the balance is corrected while the rotor is rotated up to a high service rotational speed to remove its residual unbalance at the high rotational speed at which an unbalance due to the elastic deformation of the rotor occurs so as to reduce a vibration due to the unbalance. Accordingly, when the gas turbine is assembled, the residual unbalance resulting from the assembly of the gas turbine, a compressor, and a generator formed on a same rotating axis can be reduced. As a result, the gas turbine which does not increase a vibration at a critical speed can be provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 21, 2005Publication date: January 8, 2009Inventors: Yasushi Hayasaka, Kazuyuki Yamaguchi
