Publication number: 20140252739Abstract: A longitudinal member is configured to transmit a part of a collision load occurring in a vehicle head-on collision to a suspension cross member by way of a front portion, a bending portion, and a rear portion. A lower arm, a portion of which is co-fastened to a vehicle body together with a fastening portion, is configured to transmit another part of the collision load occurring in the vehicle head-on collision to the fastening portion from the front portion. Accordingly, the rear end of the sub frame can be properly detached from the vehicle body in the vehicle head-on collision even in a case in which any weak portion extending in a vehicle width direction may not be provided.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 26, 2014Publication date: September 11, 2014Applicant: MAZDA MOTOR CORPORATIONInventors: Takahiro OTANI, Kohtaro SASAGE, Nobuhiko HIBINO, Yasushi ISHIKAWA, Shunsuke KANEMOTO

Patent number: 8632366Abstract: This invention provides a socket for a circuit board that adds function of electrical resistive element to a contact. A socket includes a socket body extending at a longitudinal direction; and a plurality of contacts disposed in two lines along the longitudinal direction of the socket body. When a memory module is connected to the socket body, terminals formed on opposite surfaces of the memory module are electrically and elastically connected by the contacts. The contact includes a contact portion which contacts the terminal, a bent portion for generating an elastic force, and a base portion. The contact is made of a conductive metal having elastic properties, and the contact used for carrying signal is provided with a resistor of an electrical resistive material that is different from the conductive metal. The resistor is connected in a current path between the base portion and the terminal of the memory module.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2012Date of Patent: January 21, 2014Assignee: Sensata Technologies Massachusetts, Inc.Inventors: Hideki Sano, Hiroyuki Abe, Yasushi Ishikawa, Toyokazu Ezura, Yasuhisa Tsukada

Patent number: 8598040Abstract: A method for etching features in a plurality of silicon based bilayers forming a stack on a wafer in a plasma processing chamber is provided. A main etch gas is flowed into the plasma processing chamber. The main etch gas is formed into a plasma, while providing a first pressure. A wafer temperature of less than 20° C. is maintained. The pressure is ramped to a second pressure less than the first pressure as the plasma etches through a plurality of the plurality of silicon based bilayers. The flow of the main etch gas is stopped after a first plurality of the plurality of bilayers is etched.Type: GrantFiled: September 6, 2011Date of Patent: December 3, 2013Assignee: Lam Research CorporationInventors: Anne Le Gouil, Jeffrey R. Publication number: 20090226233Abstract: An appropriate gap between a yoke plate and a print lever is to be continuously maintained. A gap spacer (24) is inserted between a yoke plate and a print lever (14a). The print lever (14a) abuts a print-lever abutting portion (24b) of the gap spacer (24) in performing printing on a print surface. The gap spacer (24) is provided with notches (24a), so that nine print-lever abutting portions (24b) are separated and independent from one another. Therefore, even if hitting impact is constantly applied from the print lever (14a), no wrinkle is formed in the gap spacer (24), and an appropriate gap between the yoke plate and the print lever (14a) can be appropriately maintained.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 8, 2006Publication date: September 10, 2009Applicant: SEIKO PRECISION INC.Inventors: Yasushi Ishikawa, Koichi Tanaka

Publication number: 20080148249Abstract: A system and method for setting a software option of a numeric control device, by which a user cannot set the options without permission and a cost regarding option configuration may be recovered by a maker. A maker PC generates option setting data for setting bit information to one or zero, based on a name or a number of a software option to be set, in order to make the function of the software option valid or invalid. This data is encoded or encrypted by using a unique identification number of a control device. The control device reads and decodes the encoded software option setting data, in order to set data of the corresponding memory address and bit number in the control device to one or zero. By using the unique identification number of the control device, only the control device, the software option setting data of which is required, can decode the encoded data.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 11, 2007Publication date: June 19, 2008Applicant: FANUC LTDInventors: Hidetsugu KOMIYA, Yasushi ISHIKAWA, Naoki FUJITA, Akira YAMADA, Hiroshi IMAI
