  • Publication number: 20090138324
Abstract: Quick recovery or recovery support of a faulty power generating facility by real time diagnoses such as facility failure diagnosis, supervision for failure symptoms, facility diagnosis by evaluation of performance using databases between the power generating facilities and an operation control system. The operation control system transfers information on operating status and secular characteristic changes of apparatus from power generating facilities or information from operators of selected power generating facilities. The lever of a failure of a power generating facility which has a failure is evaluated and repairing information (e.g. recovery procedures, processes, required parts, inventory of the parts, possible failure causes, etc.) is automatically created from repairing information prepared in advance for each evaluation condition. The repairing information is then sent to the operation supporting section of the power generating facility.

  • Publication number: 20080129129
Abstract: A permanent magnet electrical rotating machine having a permanent magnet rotor and a stator, wherein: a plurality of permanent magnets are disposed in a rotor iron core of the permanent magnet rotor along a periphery of the rotor iron core, polarities thereof being alternately changed; a cooling airflow channel is formed between each pair of adjacent opposite poles on the rotor iron core; and the cooling airflow channel has an approximately trapezoidal shape on an outer periphery side of the rotor iron core; and extends from an end on a central side in a radial direction of the approximately trapezoidal shape to a radial center.

  • Patent number: 6980891
Abstract: An operation control system for a plurality of power generating plants and a method of maintaining and managing a plurality of power generating plants which supply power to arbitrary power systems. The operation control system includes a general supervision/diagnosis system which maintains and controls a plurality of power generating plants wherein the general supervision/diagnosis system selects from repairing periods and procedures required to repair failures which occur in the plurality of power generating plants according to levels of failures and performs maintenance and management of power generating plants which have failures. The system also includes means for maintaining a stable total power supply of the plurality of power generating plants.

  • Publication number: 20030009347
Abstract: Minimization of risks to be incurred by a generating plant firm at the time of the firm's non-fulfillment of an agreement for electric power supply which is attributed to an unscheduled shutdown of power generating equipment that supplies electric power to electric power systems. A service center takes an intermediary action for the conclusion of indemnity insurance agreements, in a lump, between a generating plant firm which has power generating equipment and an insurance company, and contracts another indemnity insurance agreement with an electric power company so that a penalty to be incurred at the time of a non-fulfillment of an agreement for electric power supply can be indemnified by the insurance company. Furthermore, the service center subcontracts a maintenance and management service of the power generating equipment, and offers information of operation information and the maintenance status of the power generating equipment to the insurance company for the calculation of insurance premiums.
