  • Patent number: 9353751
Abstract: A suction chamber and the oil injection port are linked, under a certain range of revolution angle, via a suction working chamber formed in the radially outer side by a orbiting scroll outer curve and a fixed scroll inner curve under a certain range of revolution angle. An opening of the oil injection port is provided on a bottom surface between teeth of the fixed scroll so that the suction working chamber formed, in a radially inner side, by a orbiting scroll inner curve and a fixed scroll outer curve and the suction chamber are positioned not to be linked with the oil injection port.

  • Patent number: 9239053
Abstract: In the hermetically sealed scroll compressor, an injection pipe for injecting a fluid to a compression chamber is connected to an injecting port of a fixed scroll. The injecting port includes a first injecting port which is provided in the vicinity of a fixed scroll inner curve and injects the fluid to an orbiting outer compression chamber, and a second injecting port 22b which is provided in the vicinity of a fixed scroll outer curve and injects the fluid to a orbiting inner compression chamber 8b. The second injecting port is placed in parallel in a radius direction with respect to the first injecting port and is placed so that an orbiting scroll wrap does not practically communicate with the orbiting outer compression chamber in the state in which the orbiting scroll wrap is in contact with the outer side of a fixed scroll wrap.

  • Publication number: 20120294748
Abstract: A sealed scroll compressor for helium having a stationary scroll, an orbiting scroll, and an oil-injection mechanism. The oil-injection mechanism has an oil-injection pipe arranged to pass through a sealed container and connected to an oil-injection port, and the opening of the oil-injection port is arranged at a bottom surface of a groove between ridges formed with the scroll wrap of the stationary scroll in such a manner that a first range of the orbital angle of the orbiting scroll is approximately identical to a second range of the orbital angle of the orbiting scroll, where the oil-injection port is connected to the outer compression chamber while the orbital angle of the orbiting scroll is in the first range, and is connected to the inner compression chamber while the orbital angle of the orbiting scroll is in the second range.

  • Patent number: 7628593
Abstract: A horizontal type scroll compressor is provided with a support plate separating an inside of the sealed container into a first space in which the compressor mechanism portion and the electric motor portion are stored, and a second space in which the discharge pipe is provided, and a communication path communicating a bottom portion of the first space and a space above the drive shaft within the second space in a lower side of the support plate, and regulates an oil level by the communication path in the case that the oil level difference becomes large at a time of a high-speed operation. In order to stabilize the oil supply to the bearing or the like, the oil is supplied by an oil pump provided in a shaft end portion of the drive shaft close to an oil reserving chamber.

  • Patent number: 5211031
Abstract: A scroll type compressor having a pair of scroll type compression units which are encased in the same casing so as to make a common use of a lubricating oil reservoir provided in the casing, wherein the compression units have compression elements, drive shafts, driving motors and other components which are of the same constructions and specifications, and wherein each of the compression units are adapted to be driven selectively by commercial electrical power or through a frequency-variable inverter so as to operate at different speeds. Since both compression units can be made up from the same components such as the compression elements, loads in the production, service and administration, are greatly reduced contributing to a reduction in the labor and cost, while eliminating any mounting error.

  • Patent number: 4889471
Abstract: In a scroll compressor, an open end of an oil extraction pipe which is placed in oil stored in a bottom portion of a hermetic casing is positioned at a location higher than an open end of an oil suction pipe that opens in the same stored oil, and a thermostat is provided for sensing a temperature rise of a compressed gas to cause the compressor to be stopped. Accordingly, even when an amount of oil injected into the compressed gas decreases, an amount of oil necessary for lubrication of a bearing portion is assured. The provision of the thermostat enables the compressor to be stopped before an amount of supply of the lubrication oil to the bearing portion has decreased. It is, accordingly, possible to positively prevent burning of the bearing portion of a crankshaft.
