  • Patent number: 7274484
Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a private port selected from a group composed of a plurality of user's private ports assigned to a plurality of users, individually, and two or more function-only ports, a reception buffer which temporarily saves a print job received through the private port, and a setting/save section which is provided corresponding to the private port and saves set data on the printing system. A printing section of the apparatus reads the set data on the printing system from the setting/save section corresponding to the user's private port through which the print job is received when the print job stored in the reception buffer is printed and prints the job in accordance with the set data.

  • Publication number: 20070030496
Abstract: For preventing a formed image from being degraded in picture quality thereof, because a reflection light upon a window portion of a cover surrounding a polygon mirror, for entering/emitting a light therethrough, turns into a fixed stray light, an optical beam scanning device, according to the present invention, includes: a light deflecting device, at least a polygon mirror portion of which is covered by a cover having a cover window portion for keeping a passage for an entering/emitting light; a pre-deflection optical system for entering an optical beam from a light source into the light deflecting device; and a post-deflection optical system for focusing a reflection light from the light deflecting device on a surface to be scanned.

  • Publication number: 20060050344
Abstract: An optical scanning device and an image forming apparatus of the present invention aim to improve operation in fewer adjustment processes, even when position, attitude, and shape errors are generated in optical element components, thereby deviating an optical path from a design value and degrading performance. An optical scanning device of the present invention includes a light source, a pre-deflection optical device for applying a predetermined characteristic to a light beam irradiated from the light source, a light deflection device for deflecting the light beam having a predetermined characteristic supplied from the pre-deflection optical device in a main scanning direction by reflection, and a post-deflection optical device having an image forming lens for focusing the deflected light beam irradiated from the light deflection device on an image forming surface.

  • Publication number: 20050225627
Abstract: When a rear position on an excessive light emitting surface of an optical path synthesizing optical part for guiding a plurality of beams to one deflecting surface does not have a sufficient space, an optical multi-beam scanning device and an image forming apparatus of the present invention prevent excessive light from becoming stray light and exerting a bad effect on light sources and the other optical parts. The optical multi-beam scanning device of the present invention has a plurality of pre-deflection optical units, an optical path synthesizing member and an excessive light processing member. The pre-deflection optical units give predetermined properties to the light beams from the light sources. The optical path synthesizing member aligns optical paths of the light beams from all or some of the light sources in a horizontal scanning direction when the pre-deflection optical units give the predetermined properties to the light beams or while giving them to the light beams.

  • Publication number: 20050029438
Abstract: An optical beam scanning device of the present invention has a light source, a deflection reflecting surface for deflecting to scan light from the light source on a recording medium, and a diaphragm device which is provided between the light source and the deflection reflecting surface, and the diaphragm has an opening section formed by a nonplanar light shielding section. The light shielding section makes light shielding quantity of the light from the light source in a vertical scanning direction different in positions in a horizontal scanning direction and in a light advancing direction.

  • Patent number: 4373335
Abstract: An exhaust bypass valve actuating device is constructed and controlled such that the exhaust bypass valve opens the exhaust bypass passage so as not to apply the exhaust gas to the turbine of the turbosupercharger when the engine is in such a low load operating condition that the turbosupercharger can hardly perform supercharging and when the supercharge pressure in the intake passageway is above a predetermined value and such that the bypass valve closes the bypass passage so as to apply the exhaust gas to the turbine when the engine is in such medium and high load operating conditions that the turbosupercharger can perform supercharging.
