    Abstract: Provided is a method for producing decahedral titanium oxide particles, wherein the decahedral titanium oxide particles are produced by allowing a reaction gas containing titanium tetrachloride to flow into a reaction pipe having a partial double-pipe structure in which a hollow internal cylinder is inserted into an upstream portion of a hollow external cylinder, the method comprising: performing a preheating on the reaction gas containing titanium tetrachloride and a barrier gas not containing metal chlorides in a region on the upstream side of a downstream end of the hollow internal cylinder, while allowing the reaction gas to flow into the hollow internal cylinder and the barrier gas to flow between the hollow internal cylinder and the hollow external cylinder; and performing a main heating on the reaction gas in a downstream region apart from the downstream end of the hollow internal cylinder to thermally decompose the titanium tetrachloride.

One of a pair of comb electrodes of one of the two first IDTs is connected to one of the two balanced terminals, and one of a pair of comb electrodes of the other one of the two first IDTs being connected to the other one of the two balanced terminals. The other comb electrodes of the two first IDTs are connected in series, and one of a pair of comb electrodes that form an IDT that is included in the at least five IDTs and is not connected to the two first IDTs is grounded.

The battery is charged with a current which raises battery temperature until the holding temperature is reached.     Abstract: A transport mechanism for an optical disc cartridge capable of discharging an optical disc cartridge to a predetermined position by making a transport roller in pressure contact with the optical disc cartridge even if the cartridge is erroneously inserted. A guide arm is rotatively mounted which projects into an optical disc cartridge transport path between the transport roller and a disc insertion port. If the optical disc cartridge is inserted in a normal orientation, the guide arm is rotated by the optical disc cartridge to rotate the arm in the clockwise direction to allow the optical disc cartridge to be inserted, whereas if the optical disc cartridge is inserted in an orientation rotated by 90° from the normal orientation, the transport roller is made in pressure contact with the side wall of the optical disc cartridge.

    Abstract: A surface acoustic wave filter having a first surface acoustic wave resonator 10 which is a two-port resonator utilizing longitudinal mode coupling and a second surface acoustic wave resonator 20 connected to a series arm of the first surface acoustic wave resonator 10 on a piezoelectric substrate. The duty of the second surface acoustic wave resonator 20 is set to be smaller than the duty of the first surface acoustic wave resonator 10. Consequently the reflectance per electrode finger of the second surface acoustic wave resonator 20 can be smaller than that of the first surface acoustic wave resonator 10. Therefore, even when the effect of the inductance component is added to the characteristics of the second surface acoustic wave resonator 20, the increase of the difference between the resonance frequency fr and the anti-resonance frequency far can be suppressed.

    Abstract: Due to flip-chip assembling, a surface acoustic wave device can be miniaturized and improved in high frequency characteristics. Despite that, since a resonant system cannot be formed due to an absence of inductance of bonding wire, there is a problem that an attenuation region cannot be disposed in a frequency band apart from the pass band. In order to solve the problem, ground terminal wired to interdigital electrodes of a two-port surface acoustic wave element is extended facing to facing to both output sides of both input and output signal terminals to form capacitance. Due to a resonant system including the capacitance, in a frequency band apart from a pass band of the surface acoustic wave element an attenuation region is formed. Thereby, a surface acoustic wave device that is flexibly adjustable of frequency characteristics in response to system request, can be miniaturized and is improved in characteristics out of band is provided.

The electrode group is formed by alternately stacking positive electrodes and negative electrodes via separators. The outermost electrodes, which are located on both faces of the electrode group, are coated with an active material on a surface of a core. Furthermore, the outermost electrodes have the same polarity and the cores thereof directly contact an inside surface of the outer battery case. In one embodiment, the capacity of the outermost electrodes is smaller than the capacity of the inwardly disposed electrodes of the same polarity.
