Abstract: A heating system heats casseroles placed on trays on a passenger plane. The heating system includes heating plates vertically arranged at regular intervals to receive the casseroles between adjacent heating plates to heat each casserole from above and from beneath. The heating plate includes a ceramic plate, a heating element buried in the ceramic plate, electrodes projecting from the ceramic plate, and a reinforcing frame. The heating plate is attached to the inner surface of a side wall of a cabinet. The junction of the heating plate and the side wall is sealed in a water-tight manner. The heating system is connected to a power supply by connecting a receptacle connector fixedly provided on the cabinet, and a plug connector elastically supported on a fixed part of the galley of the passenger airplane so as to be vertically, horizontally and axially movable.

Abstract: Novel acetal compounds of the formula: ##STR1## wherein X is a halogen atom, a trifluromethyl group or a lower alkyl group; Y is a halogen atom, a lower alkyl group or a lower alkyloxy group; m and n each independently are an integer of 0 to 2, and when m or n is 2, the plurality of each of X or Y may have the same or different meanings; R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently represent a saturated or unsaturated lower hydrocarbon residue, or R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 together form a substituted or unsubstituted alkylene chain which, when taken together with ##STR2## to which they are attached, form a ring structure, and a process for their production are provided. The compounds are highly effective against pathogenic fungi while being well tolerated by cultivated plants.

Abstract: A treating agent whose effective ingredient is an anthranyl derivative of the formula: ##STR1## (wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 may be the same or different and represent a hydrogen atom, a hydroxyl group, a lower alkoxy group, preferably C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkoxy group, a lower alkyl group, preferably C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl group, a nitro group or a halogen atom) is disclosed.

Abstract: Benzamide derivatives of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom, a methyl group or a methoxy group; R.sub.2 is a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group having 2 to 8 carbon atoms, a substituted phenyl group, or group --NHR.sub.4, R.sub.4 being a hydrogen atom, a straight-chain or branched-chain or cyclic alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, or a phenyl group that may have a substituent on the nucleus; R.sub.3 is a hydrogen atom or one or two alkyl groups having 1 to 4 carbon atoms and n is 0 or 1, a process for preparing these derivatives, and pharmaceutical compositions containing the same are provided.The compounds of the above formula have the action to reduce the blood glucose level and, therefore, are useful as medicines.

Abstract: A plant growth regulator containing as an active ingredient one or more compounds represented by the formula ##STR1## wherein R, X, Y and Z are defined in the specification is disclosed. The plant growth regulator is effective for a wide variety of plants, particularly for grassy plants. In addition to such activity, the regulator of this invention acts on plants to thicken the foliage and to aid health growth without causing substantial phytotoxicity.

Abstract: Dibenzoxazepine derivatives of the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, n, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are as defined in the description, process for preparing the same, pharmaceutical composition containing the same and method of treating diseases in circulatory organs administering the composition to a patient are disclosed.The compounds of the formula have lipid lowering activity, lipid peroxide lowering activity, blood sugar lowering activity and activity to inhibit the aggregation of platelets, and hence are useful as a medicine.

Abstract: Dibenz[b,f][1,4]oxazepine derivatives of the formula ##STR1## (wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group; R.sub.2 is a branched lower alkyl group; R.sub.3 is a hydrogen atom, a carboxyl group, a carbamoyl group, a lower alkoxycarbonyl group, or a lower alkoxy group; R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are each a lower alkyl group or may, when taken together with a nitrogen atom, form a heterocyclic ring; and A is a lower alkylene group) or salts thereof, a process for preparing the same and pharmaceutical compositions comprising the same are disclosed. The derivatives of the formula above are effective to prevent and treat circulatory diseases, especially angina pectoris, and therefore, useful as medicines.

Abstract: Isonicotinanilide derivatives of the formula ##STR1## (wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom or a lower alkyl group; X is a halogen atom or methyl; n is an integer of from 0 to 2; R.sub.2 is phenyl, halo-substituted phenyl or a lower alkyl group; and Q is ##STR2## provided that Q is ##STR3## or --CH.sub.2 --when R.sub.2 is phenyl or halo-substituted phenyl, and Q is ##STR4## when R.sub.2 is a lower alkyl group) a process for preparing the same and a plant growth regulator containing the same are disclosed. The derivatives of the formula above have good activity for regulating the growth of various plants, especially of grassy plants.

Abstract: Novel compound, 1,2-bis(nicotinamido)propane and its pharmaceutically acceptable salts, a process for preparing the same and a pharmaceutical composition containing the same as an active ingredient are disclosed.The compound acts to prevent or spasmolyse cerebral vasospasms, to prevent cerebral apoplexy and to lower the lipoperoxide level in blood.

Abstract: 1,4,5,6-Tetrahydronicotinamide derivative represented by the formula: ##STR1## (wherein R is defined in the specification), a process of preparing the same and pharmaceutical composition containing the same are disclosed.The compound has action for suppressing aggregation of platelets, and antiinflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic actions.

Abstract: There are provided novel urea derivatives of the general formula ##STR1## wherein X, n, A and R are defined in the description; processes for preparing the derivatives and herbicidal composition containing as active ingredient the derivative. The derivatives have highly selective herbicidal activities.

Abstract: A pesticide containing an effective ingredient of a trialkyl isocyanurate of the formula: ##STR1## (wherein R is an alkyl group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms) which is optionally combined with a pyrethroid insecticide and a method of using the same are disclosed.

Abstract: Dibenz[b,f][1,4]oxazepine derivatives represented by the formula ##STR1## [wherein R.sub.1, n, R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are as defined in the specification], and a process for preparing the same are disclosed. The object compounds have excellent serum cholesterol lowering activity, serum lipid lowering activity, blood lipid peroxide lowering activity and anti-aggregation of platelet activity, and therefore are useful as a drug.

Abstract: A pesticide containing an effective ingredient of a trialkyl isocyanurate of the formula: ##STR1## (wherein R is an alkyl group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms) which is optionally combined with a pyrethroid insecticide and a method of using the same are disclosed.

Abstract: A terephthalic acid monoamide derivative of the formula: ##STR1## (wherein R is a straight- or branched-chain lower alkyl group; R' and R" may be the same or different, and represent a hydrogen atom, or a straight- or branched-chain lower alkyl group) or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof are disclosed. A process for preparing such terephthalic acid monoamide derivative or its salts, as well as an anti-allergic agent containing such derivative or its salts as an effective ingredient are also disclosed.
