Abstract: An information processing system includes a portable terminal and an information processing device that is connected to a network via a first access point and that is connected to the portable terminal. The information processing device includes a connecting unit that connects a storage device provided with a wireless network function. The storage device connected by the connecting unit includes a communication unit that achieves the wireless network function, and the communication unit is used as a second access point used only for communication of data transmitted between the information processing device and the portable terminal.
