  • Patent number: 5727234
Abstract: A camera is provided that accomplishes a warning display using a range measurement frame indicating a specific subject field region. The camera includes a shake amount detection system that detects the amount of shaking of the camera, a drive system that drives the correction lens to effect shake correction and a movement amount detection system that detects the amount of movement of the correction lens. The camera may also include a lens MPU and a camera MPU. The lens MPU determines whether or not shaking has been negated through driving of the correction lens accomplished by the drive system. When shaking has not been negated, the lens MPU outputs a warning signal. The camera MPU sends a signal to the warning display system upon receiving this output warning signal to cause a range measurement frame to flash.

  • Patent number: 5715479
Abstract: A blur prevention device is equipped with first and second drive units which can move a blur prevention lens in a plane orthogonal to an optical axis of a main optical system. First and second transfer units transfer the amount of movement of the drive units to the blur prevention lens and first and second transfer receiving units receive the amount of movement in the respective directions from the respective transfer units. Each of the transfer receiving units can move relative to the one transfer unit other than the respective transfer unit. The blur prevention device has a specified direction for one of the transfer units and allows a degree of freedom outside the movement in the specified direction to the other transfer unit. Restriction gears, which are part of the drive units, restrict the amount of movement of the blur prevention lens in the plane orthogonal to the optical axis.

  • Patent number: 5617159
Abstract: An image blur suppression device suitable for a camera which compensates for low frequency camera motion without increasing the length of the camera in the optical axis direction and without posing limitation on the design of the camera. The image blur suppression device compensates for image blur by damping vibrations of a camera body to a compensation optical system using the inertia of a balance member. An oscillation mechanism unit is equipped with a first rotation member, one end of which is supported by the camera body so that it can rotate freely and the other end of which is fitted with the compensation optical system. A second rotation member is supported by the camera body so that it can rotate freely. The second rotation member has one end fitted to the first rotation member and the balance member attached to the other end.

  • Patent number: 5526091
Abstract: A focal plane shutter, according to the present invention comprises a front curtain having a plurality of divided blades. One divided blade located at an end of the plurality of divided blades and forming an opening for exposure, has the photographing lens-side surface thereof formed to be a surface of reflectance lower than a predetermined rate, and each of the other divided blades than the one divided blade forming an opening for exposure, has the photographing lens-side surface thereof formed to be a surface of reflectance not lower than the predetermined rate.
