    Abstract: To facilitate design and development of an apparatus that processes images. An image processing apparatus includes a separation unit, a Bayer image signal supply unit, and a signal processing unit. The separation unit separates and removes, in input image signals in which pixel signals each including an invisible light component are arranged in an array different from a Bayer array, the invisible light components from the pixel signals. The Bayer image signal supply unit arranges the pixel signals from which the invisible light components have been removed in the Bayer array and supplies the pixel signals as Bayer image signals. The signal processing unit subjects the Bayer image signals to predetermined signal processing.

    Abstract: A biological information measurement apparatus includes a phase/frequency comparison unit that outputs a deviation signal based on a phase difference between a biological signal and an oscillation signal; a variable loop filter that varies a cutoff frequency and a phase margin and that selectively blocks a signal of a predetermined frequency band contained in the deviation signal; and a voltage controlled oscillation unit that generates the oscillation signal in accordance with the deviation signal that has passed through the variable loop filter. The apparatus further includes a CPU that estimates a SN ratio of the biological signal and analyzes a phase difference/frequency difference between the biological signal outputted from the comparison unit and the oscillation signal. The CPU further changes a constant of the variable loop filter based on the SN ratio and the phase difference/frequency difference.

    Abstract: Improvement of image quality is realizable. An adding unit generates a summed value corresponding to a sum of all values of respective pixel signals of a plurality of first pixels each of which has sensitivities to visible light and invisible light. The values are weighted by first weighting coefficients that are different from each other and determined such that a difference between a sum of the sensitivities of the first pixels to the visible light and a sensitivity of a second pixel to the visible light, which second pixel has sensitivities to the visible light and the invisible light, becomes smaller than a predetermined tolerance in a state that the sensitivities of the first pixels to the visible light are weighted by the first weighting coefficients and that the sensitivity of the second pixel to the visible light is weighted by a second weighting coefficient. A weighting processing unit weights a pixel signal of the second pixel by the second weighting coefficient.
