  • Patent number: 11935919
Abstract: A method for manufacturing a semiconductor device includes forming, on first and second impurity layers on a termination region side, an insulating layer, forming a first metal film and a second metal film in this order on the insulating layer and a drift layer, performing dry etching on the first and second metal films all together so that a position of a first end of a metallized layer, which is a remaining part of the first metal film, in the interface region on the termination region side and a position of a second end of an electrode, which is a remaining part of the second metal film, in the interface region on the terminal region side are the same in plan view. The first and second ends are closer to the active region than an end of the second impurity layer on the termination region side in plan view.

  • Patent number: 7598190
Abstract: The present invention relates to an ultraviolet and infrared absorptive greenish glass (the first glass) containing in weight % expression at least coloring components of 0.3-0.5% of total Fe2O3, 0.8-2.0% CeO2, 0.8-2.0% TiO2, and 0.10-0.25% of FeO. This first glass may be an ultraviolet and infrared absorptive greenish glass (the second glass) in which CeO2 amounts to 0.8-1.5% and TiO2 amounts to 0.8-1.5%, and which contains at least 0.1-0.7% SnO as a coloring component. Each glass is characterized in each glass at 5 mm thickness is 9% or less in ultraviolet transmittance (Tuv) according to ISO/DIS9050, 1% or less in 350 nm wavelength transmittance (T350), 70% or greater in 550 nm wavelength transmittance (T550), and 25% or less in 1100 nm wavelength transmittance (T1100).

  • Publication number: 20050277586
Abstract: It is intended to provide a peptide chemically modified with PEG which contains a sequence consisting of 18 amino acids and having a specific structure made up of four planes, i.e., two hydrophobic planes and two hydrophilic planes alternately arranged in an alpha-helix structural model; a complex of the above peptide with a peptide-binding substance; a carrier modified with the peptide chemically modified with PEG as described above; a process for producing the same; and a method of delivering a substance bonded to a carrier modified with the peptide chemically modified with PEG or enclosed therein. The peptide chemically modified with PEG as described above has a high safety and can be easily formulated into a complex with a peptide-binding substance (i.e., having favorable handling properties). The resultant complex has a high solubility and shows an excellent introduction selectivity of the peptide-binding substance into cells.

  • Patent number: 5344798
Abstract: An infrared and ultraviolet radiation absorbing glass suitable for use in building and vehicle windows, which comprises, on a weight basis, 68.0-73.0% SiO.sub.2, 0.1-3.0% Al.sub.2 O.sub.3, 7.0-11.0% CaO, 2.0-4.2% MgO, 12.0-16.0% Na.sub.2 O, 0.5-3.0% K.sub.2 O, 0.02-0.30% SO.sub.3, 0.30-0.90% total iron expressed as Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3, 0.10-0.80% CeO.sub.2, 0-1.0% TiO.sub.2, 0-0.5% ZnO, 0-0.1% MnO and 0-0.01% CoO. In the glass the ratio of ferrous iron to ferric iron is from 0.8 to 2.5. The glass has a bluish tint and is well balanced in visible light transmittance, infrared radiation absorption and ultraviolet radiation absorption, and a sheet of the glass can easily be tempered by a conventional method. In producing this glass, it is favorable to use cullet of a frit glass in which the ratio of ferrous iron to ferric iron is from 2.0 to 5.0 as a part of a batch of glass compostion to be melted.
