  • Publication number: 20020184851
Abstract: The present invention relates to a packaging system for causing articles M to fall downward along a predetermined falling route A and filling the articles M into a tubular film F. The packaging system is provided with an auxiliary device 205 operating on the falling route A at predetermined timing and facilitating or improving the flow of the articles M, determination unit 21a determining whether a state of the flow of the articles M on the falling route A is normal or abnormal, and a change unit 21b changing the operating timing of the auxiliary device 205 according to the state of the flow of the articles M determined by the determination unit 21a. With this configuration, the state of the flow of the articles M is improved and the high productivity (yield) and/or operativity of the packaging system can be maintained.

  • Patent number: 6373001
Abstract: There is provided an abnormal device determining means (CPU 51) which reads a tendency of displacement between the combination calculated weight Wc of the contents M and the post-discharge Ws measured value of the same contents M measured after such contents M have been bagged and which, based on the tendency of displacement so read, determines which one of the combination calculated value Wc and the post-discharge measured value Ws is abnormal, and a display device (54) for displaying a result of the determination. Thus, since based on the displacement tendency of the combination calculated value Wc and the post-discharge measured value Ws, which one of the combination calculated value Wc and the post-discharge measured value Ws is abnormal is determined, it can readily and easily grasped which one of the combination weighing apparatus (1) and the weight checker (300) suffers from a trouble.

  • Patent number: 6365846
Abstract: The present invention relates to a combination weighing apparatus for selecting a combination of some of weighing hoppers (6i) accommodating therein articles that have been supplied thereto, which combination results in a combination calculated value (Wc) of measured weights of the articles (M) contained in some of the weighing hoppers (6i) forming the combination, falling within a predetermined combination tolerance, and for subsequently discharging the articles (M) in the selected weighing hoppers (6i). In accordance with a condition of a flow of the articles (M) on a falling route downstream of the combination weighing apparatus (1), discharge timing for discharging the articles (M) from the hoppers (6i) is automatically changed among the hoppers (6i). It is thereby possible to promptly detect abnormality in the flow of the articles and to maintain the high operativity and productivity (yield) of the combination weighing apparatus (1).

  • Patent number: 6146774
Abstract: A medium-P/high-P type Ni--P plating coating, the hardness of which can be furthermore enhanced by heat treating, is used for plating on the surface of a sliding member. However, its wear resistance does not arrive at the desired level. In addition, although the P content of the conventional Ni--P--B electroless plating coating is lower than that of Ni--P electroless plating coating, P considerably disordered the crystallinity of Ni crystals and hence impaired the sliding characteristics. There is provided as a Ni--P--B electroless plating coating, which can eliminate the above described problems, a plating coating containing from 0.05 to 5% by weight of P and from 0.01 to 0.05% by weight of B. Furthermore, barrel polishing, shot blasting, laser-beam irradiation, high-frequency induction heating and the like are applied to the plating coating.

  • Patent number: 6090291
Abstract: A waste processing method decomposing an organic substance or an inorganic substance contained in organic wastes or inorganic wastes by holding a mixture of the organic wastes or the inorganic wastes and a medium, which is in its supercritical state, for a pre-determined time period, in which the hydrogen ion concentration of the medium is 10.sup.-4 mol or more to 1 kg of the medium.A waste processing method having a step of decomposing all or almost all of an organic substance included in organic wastes into lower-molecular-weight products by holding the organic wastes in a medium, which is in its supercritical state, for a pre-determined time and a step of oxidizing and decomposing the lower-molecular-weight products into carbon dioxide (CO.sub.2) and/or water (H.sub.2 O) by holding a mixture of an oxidant and the lower-molecular-weight products in the medium, which is in its subcritical state, for a pre-determined time period.

  • Patent number: 5682650
Abstract: A sheet clipping device of the invention is designed to detachably hold one or more sheets. The sheet clipping device is formed of an elongated base member, and a plurality of gripping devices fixed to the elongated base member at a predetermined distance away from each other along the longitudinal direction thereof. The elongated base member is formed of upper and lower portions with diagonal upper and lower guide members, and a back portion situated between the upper and lower portions. Distal ends of the upper and lower guide members are vertically spaced apart from each other. Each gripping device includes an upper frictional member fixed to the upper portion, and a lower frictional member fixed to the lower portion to face to each other. When the sheets are inserted between the upper and lower frictional members through the guide members, the sheets are frictionally retained between the frictional members. The sheets can be easily attached to or removed from the clipping device.

  • Patent number: 5632565
Abstract: A removable cap of the invention is used for an elongated or writing instrument. The cap is formed of a hollow main body, a supporting member projecting laterally from a side wall of the main body, and a clip projecting from a side of the supporting member. The main body includes an end opening at one side thereof, through which the elongated instrument is removably inserted into the hollow main body. The supporting member has a through hole therein. When the cap is accidentally swallowed and held in a throat, a fluid or air path is established in the supporting member.

  • Patent number: 5498654
Abstract: Sliding bearing material containing at least two of aromatic polyester-resin particles, spherical carbon particles, and zinc-oxide whisker dispersed in a matrix consisting of polytetrafluoroethylene. The PTFE-based material exhibits little wear under conditions in which vibration is imparted, thereby enhancing reliability of the sliding parts of various machines and equipment and preventing enlargement of clearances during operation.

  • Patent number: 5202183
Abstract: An alkali resistant synthetic fiber and a sheeting obtained therefrom are disclosed, the fiber being comprised of a polymer mixture consisting of (A) from 15 to 80% by weight of polysulphone, (B) from 20 to 85% by weight of polyvinyl chloride having a degree of polymerization of from 800 to 2,500, and (C) up to 65% by weight of other vinyl polymer, each based on the total weight of the components (A), (B), and (C). The sheeting is excellent in alkali resistant in high temperatures and liquid retention and is therefore useful as industrial filters, battery separators, and industrial wipers.

  • Patent number: 5179574
Abstract: A spread PN code signal receiver having a delay locked loop (DLL) circuit in an IF or RF stage characterized in that correlation outputs to be used for the DLL circuit control are (1) a correlation output between (a) a PN code advanced in phase with respect to the received signal and (b) the received signal and (2) a correlation output between (a) a PN code delayed in phase with respect to the received signal and (b) the received signal. The correlation outputs are used to detect the lock/unlock signal in the DLL circuit. In particular, AND logic for these two correlation outputs is employed to generate the lock/unlock signal only when the DLL circuit is perfectly synchronized in phase with the received signal. With this feature, a lock state can not de detected unitl a stable lock state is obtained.

  • Patent number: 5090023
Abstract: The correlation between a PN code pattern of the synchronization preamble data of an incoming spread spectrum signal and a reference PN code pattern generated on the reception side is detected by using an SAW convolver. The gate length of the SAW convolver is shorter than the preamble data length. However, an apparatus which can obtain the true correlation output by calculating the logical multiplication of the correlation output from the SAW convolver and the validation pulse is constituted.
