    Abstract: A domestic or industrial fuel spray combustion device which includes a cylinder-shaped swirl chamber into which air streams are introduced; a fuel injection atomizer for spraying fuel to the swirl chamber; an ignition plug; a first combustion cylinder connected through a choke to the swirl chamber, the first combustion cylinder being coaxial with the swirl chamber; and being larger than an equal to the swirl chamber in diameter and a second combustion cylinder connected through a choke to the first combustion cylinder, the second combustion cylinder being coaxial with the first combustion chamber and being equal to or smaller than the first combustion cylinder in diameter. This structure provides a compact combustion device which enables stable combustion even with a small amount of fuel.

    Abstract: A swirl injection valve includes: a nozzle body including a hollow cylindrical body having a hole and a bottom portion on which a nozzle port and a valve seat are formed; a needle valve member, slidably inserted and reciprocally moved within the hole of the nozzle body, having a tip portion for seating on the valve seat and controlling the opening and closing of the nozzle port; a swirl chamber formed upstream of the nozzle port and defined between an inner wall of the nozzle body and an outer wall of the needle valve member; a fuel supply passage formed within the nozzle body and connected to a fuel supply source; and inclined passage comprising at least one short passage connected to the swirl chamber and the fuel supply passage and tangentially opened to the swirl chamber at a predetermined inclined angle. The fuel is tangentially supplied from the inclined passage to the swirl chamber without pressure loss.

    Abstract: A spill type swirl injector includes a nozzle body, an injection port, a pressurized fluid induction passage, a valve assembly, a swirl chamber, two tangential pressurized fluid supply passages and a spill assembly including two spill openings provided on an outer cylindrical wall of a movable member of the valve assembly and opened to inner side of the swirl chamber. An axial hole provided in the movable member of the valve assembly and in the nozzle body and discharge passage assembly is connected to a pressurized fluid supply source, thereby spilling a predetermined quantity of the pressurized fluid from the inner side of the swirl chamber through the spill opening, axial hole and spill passage assembly.
