  • Publication number: 20120286998
Abstract: Systems and methods for correcting a location of a terminal are provided. In various aspects, a processor in a position correction apparatus may associate a reference position with the terminal, and determine a range for the terminal based on the reference position. The processor may also associate a second position with the terminal, and determine if the second position associated with the terminal is outside the determined range for the terminal based on the reference position. Upon a determination that indicates that the second position is outside the determined range, the processor may correct the second position to a corrected position associated with the terminal.

  • Patent number: 7793922
Abstract: A bound stopper provided with a drainage path for draining water that has passed through drainage holes formed in a bottom portion of a bracket. The drainage path is constituted by a recessed portion formed on at least one of a plurality of corresponding portions of a fixing metal fitting and the recessed portion opens outward in a direction perpendicular to an axial direction of the fitting. The corresponding portions are positioned so as to correspond to each of the plurality of the drainage holes, upon the fitting being in contact with the bracket. A locating projection is provided on an outer surface of the corresponding portion different from the corresponding portion having the recessed portion. Insertion of a locating projection into the drainage hole corresponding to the different corresponding portion allows the fitting to be circumferentially positioned such that the corresponding portions correspond to the drainage holes.

  • Publication number: 20100135635
Abstract: In viewing a moving image taken by an image taking apparatus, contents of that moving image are easily understood. A feature quantity extraction block 150 extracts a feature quantity associated with a taken image. A conversion information correction block 160 corrects conversion information if the feature quantity is over a threshold value. A synthesized image division decision block 170 determines that a taken image and a log image are not to be synthesized if the feature quantity is over a threshold level. If the conversion information was corrected, an image conversion block 180 converts a taken image by the corrected conversion information; if the conversion information was not corrected, the image conversion block corrects a taken image by the conversion information.

  • Publication number: 20100111429
Abstract: To easily understand the contents of a moving image taken by an image taking apparatus. An image conversion block 150 converts a taken image on the basis of conversion information. A transparency conversion block 160 converts the transparency in the converted taken image. A image synthesis block 170 synthesizes the taken image with the transparency converted with a log image and holds a resultant new log image in an image memory 180. An index image extraction block 190 extracts a new index image from among the converted taken images on the basis of the coordinate position and size of an index image in an image taking space. A selection block 270 selects an index image on the basis of the position of a selected representative image when the position of a panorama image displayed on a display block 292 is selected. A display control block 291 displays a panorama image on the display block 292 and displays the selected index image, overlapped on the panorama image.

  • Patent number: 6891283
Abstract: A steering apparatus of a vehicle can achieve detection of an absolute angle of a steering shaft with a simple structure while preventing an increase in power consumption. A resolver sensor outputs an output signal corresponding to an angular position of a steering shaft of the vehicle. A lock mechanism restricts rotation of the steering shaft at locking positions provided around the steering shaft at equal intervals. An axial multiplication angle k× of the output signal of the resolver sensor and a number N of the locking positions provided around the steering shaft satisfy a relationship represented by k?N.

  • Publication number: 20040182626
Abstract: A power steering device is provided which is capable of detecting an initial torque of torque detection means precisely in a short period of time in the initial setting therefor. In detecting the initial torque of the torque detection means, assist power generating means such as an electric motor for applying assist power to a handle shaft is used to rotate a steering handle within a minute rotational range in positive and negative-going directions from a neutral position in the steering direction. The rotation of the steering handle in this initial setting is performed so that the amplitude of the repetitive rotations in the positive and negative-going directions are decremented as time passes. Then, an output of the torque detection means is detected as the initial torque with the steering handle being held stationarily at the neutral position.
