A method for creating a color scale, comprising having a plurality of people having toothed jaws masticate color-changeable chewing gums, obtaining a regression equation for the color presented by the masticated gum and the color difference between the gum before and the gum after mastication, and further, obtaining a regression equation for the number of times of mastication and the color difference between the gum before and the gum after mastication, to thereby obtain the number of times of mastication performed by the people having toothed jaws and the color difference in the color presented by the masticated gum.

The attachment structure includes: an armature connected to a steering mechanism of the vehicle; and a housing that accommodates the airbag module and that is positioned with respect to the armature. The housing includes positioning pins for implementing relative positioning in XY directions with respect to the armature at a plurality of locations and first openings for implementing positioning in a Z direction at a plurality of locations. The armature is provided with a plurality of second openings through which the positioning pins of the housing are inserted and with a plurality of protrusions that are inserted through the first openings of the housing. The position of Z-direction lower edge sections of the first openings of the housing lies within a range of the depth of the second openings of the armature.

    Abstract: To provide an airbag device for a front passenger seat which has a simple construction and can sufficiently absorb an external force applied to an instrument panel. The airbag device for a front passenger seat according to the invention includes: an airbag kept in an inflatable and expandable state; an airbag container which is fixed to a vehicle and accommodates the airbag; and an airbag cover which covers the airbag container. The airbag cover has a cover surface portion on the instrument panel side and a cover extending portion which extends from the cover surface portion in a first direction toward the airbag container. The cover extending portion is characterized by having a deformable region which deforms more easily than the other parts to absorb impact force by deformation. When a pressure (impact force) is applied to the instrument panel from the outside, the deformable region can be deformed elastically or plastically to absorb the impact force.
