  • Patent number: 7806712
Abstract: An electric compressor having a compression mechanism, an electric motor for driving the compression mechanism, and a housing for containing the compression mechanism and the electric motor. An opening formed in the housing is closed with a lid member to which a sealed terminal is attached, and an electroconductive pin of the sealed terminal is fitted into a socket connected to a lead wire of the electric motor. The socket is embedded in an insulative member, and the electroconductive pin of the sealed terminal is inserted into a hole formed in the insulative member and is fitted into the socket. An insulation section that surrounds the base portion of the electroconductive pin and the insulative member hold a ring member that is formed from an insulative elastic material and surrounds the electroconductive pin, and this portion held is sealed and insulated by elastic deformation of the ring member.

  • Patent number: 6375436
Abstract: A hybrid compressor achieving simplification in the structure and capable of driving the compression unit with ease is provided. An electromagnetic clutch unit (40) is provided at a rotating shaft (11) projecting out on one side of a compression unit (10) and an electric motor unit (70) is provided at the rotating shaft (11) projecting out on the other side of the compression unit (10), so that an electromagnetic clutch unit (40) in the prior art can be utilized directly. At the same time, since the electric motor unit (70) is provided at the rotating shaft (11) projecting out the other side of the compression unit (10), the electromagnetic clutch unit and the electric motor unit are set at the same rotating shaft (11) and the compression unit (10) and the electric motor unit (70) are positioned next to each other to reduce the torsional torque generated at the rotating shaft (11).

  • Patent number: 5507155
Abstract: An automobile air-conditioning system has a compressor driven by an electric motor, a main condenser for cooling which is provided outside a car-room, a subcondenser for heating which is provided in the car-room, an evaporator provided in the car-room and a changeover valve for switching refrigerant paths, and executes a heating operation and a cooling operation by switching refrigerant paths by the changeover valve. When an air-conditioning mode is a heating mode and a room temperature of the automobile is below a prescribed temperature, a revolution of the compressor is compensated by a first prescribed revolution pitch according to a discharge temperature of a refrigerant delivered from the compressor.
