  • Patent number: 9850836
Abstract: An automatic control apparatus for an engine detects an operation position of a mechanical shift lever for shifting gears of a transmission, automatically stops the engine when a predetermined condition is satisfied in the case where the operation position is at a first specific range, and automatically restarts the engine in the case where, after the operation position is switched from the first specific range to a second specific range while the engine is stopped, the second specific range is maintained for a predetermined time. When the operation position is switched from the first specific range to the second specific range while the engine is stopped, it is determined whether or not the driver has an intention to start the vehicle, and if YES, the predetermined time is set to be shorter than when it is determined that there is no intention to start the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 9714621
Abstract: An automatic engine control apparatus installed in a vehicle causes an engine of the vehicle to stop automatically when a predetermined stop condition is satisfied, and after the automatic stop of the engine, causes the engine to restart automatically when a predetermined restarting condition is satisfied. The apparatus includes an electronic control unit configured to inhibit or permit, while the vehicle is stopped, a second automatic stop of the engine in response to the predetermined stop condition being satisfied, depending on whether the predetermined restarting condition satisfied most recently to have caused the engine to restart automatically was a first restarting condition or a second restarting condition different from the first restarting condition. The first restarting condition represents an intention of a driver of the vehicle to start moving the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20120052592
Abstract: The present invention has its main object of providing a method for determining prognosis scientifically by searching an early marker for predicting neurological prognosis in order to grasp the disease state of a patient with an acute central nervous system disorder in the early stage and enabling an appropriate treatment to be performed. The method for determining the prognosis is provided in which the expression level of SH3BGRL3 in the biological fluid of the patient within 48 hours after resuscitation from cardiopulmonary arrest is measured, and the prognosis of the disorder classified into a good prognosis group and a poor prognosis group depending on the expression level or the presence or absence of the expression based on the Glasgow Outcome Scale (GOS) is predicted.

  • Patent number: 6883017
Abstract: A server transmits distribution communication blocks to a relay client and other clients through the Internet. The communication blocks include at least addresses and pieces of distribution information of the relay client and the other clients. The relay client obtains the pieces of distribution information from the distribution communication blocks, and circulates the communication blocks in which distribution results are set to a client next in the order on the basis of the addresses. The last client that receives the distribution communication block transmits it to the relay client. The relay client relays the distribution communication block back to the server.

  • Publication number: 20020026481
Abstract: An electronic mail system that is used to send electronic mail with an attached file reliably regardless of the status of mail servers on a transmission path. In this electronic mail system, if an attached file is added to electronic mail sent from a mail client, being a sender, an attached file separating section separates the attached file from the electronic mail. An attached file transferring section transfers the attached file separated from the electronic mail by the attached file separating section to an FTP server. A store location information adding section adds store location information indicating a location where the attached file transferred by the attached file transferring section is stored to the electronic mail. The electronic mail to which the store location information has been added is sent to a receiver mail server.

  • Patent number: 4331987
Abstract: Disclosed is a self-compensating device for a magnetic disc apparatus with a velocity servo system in which an output signal of a velocity detector detects the velocity of a read/write transducer is automatically compensated by the combination of a control means and a compensator. While supplying a given velocity command signal to the velocity servo system, the control means measures the velocity of the transducer by using a track detector and adjusts the compensator on the basis of the result of the measurement.

  • Patent number: 4314291
Abstract: Disclosed is a self-compensating device for a magnetic disc apparatus with a velocity servo system in which a change of the characteristic of an actuator for positioning a read/write transducer is automatically compensated by the combination of a control means and a compensator. While supplying a given velocity command signal to the velocity servo system, the control means measures the motion of the transducer by using a track detector and adjusts the compensator on the basis of the result of the measurement.
