Patent number: 11462844Abstract: An electrical connector includes a housing, a plurality of contacts arranged in the housing, an actuator mounted to the housing and configured to move relative to the housing, and a locking terminal mounted to the housing, the locking terminal comprising a locking arm extending through an interior portion of the actuator and into a cavity within the housing, the cavity having an upper surface and a lower surface. Movement of the actuator relative to the housing may cause the interior portion of the actuator to push against at least part of the locking arm and rotate the at least part of the locking arm. When the actuator is in a first position, the locking arm may contact a surface of the cavity within the housing, which may inhibit the actuator from rotating in a first direction.Type: GrantFiled: November 20, 2020Date of Patent: October 4, 2022Assignee: Amphenol FCI Asia Pte. Ltd.Inventors: Motomu Kajiura, Yasutoshi Kameda

Patent number: 11374358Abstract: A low profile wire to board connector with features that enable a height of 1 mm or less, yet sufficient robustness to preclude unintentional separation of mated connectors. A board connector, with a mounting interface configured for surface mount soldering to a PCB, may include a recess for receiving a complementary connector terminating multiple wires. The board connector may have blade-shaped terminals, which may be soldered to the PCB at two ends, with an intermediate portion engaging a portion of the board connector housing, so as to secure the housing to the PCB. The complementary connector may be inserted at an acute angle with the mounting interface, engaging a front portion of the mating connector to a front portion of the board connector. The rear of the complementary connector may then be rotated into the recess and secured near the rear.Type: GrantFiled: July 1, 2020Date of Patent: June 28, 2022Assignee: Amphenol FCI Asia Pte. Ltd.Inventors: Motomu Kajiura, Yasutoshi Kameda

Patent number: 10530082Abstract: A circuit board connector comprises a housing, at least one signal contact disposed in the housing, and a pair of locking arms attached to the housing. The housing has a slot formed therein, for receiving a circuit board. Each locking arm has a latch movably disposed in the slot. The pair of locking arms are resiliently deformable relative to the housing between a lock position at which the latch is positioned to block the slot, to lock a circuit board to the connect, and an unlock position at which the latch is positioned to form a clearance in the slot, to allow disconnection of the circuit board from the connector.Type: GrantFiled: August 31, 2016Date of Patent: January 7, 2020Assignee: Amphenol FCI Asia Pte. Ltd.Inventors: Masahiko Motoyama, Yasutoshi Kameda

Patent number: 10016855Abstract: An opening degree sensor produces a sensor output corresponding to a valve opening degree of a valve, and includes a memory into which the sensor output corresponding to the valve opening degree is written. When performing a first half process, flow rates of more than one valve device are measured, a flow rate error is calculated based on an average flow rate obtained by averaging the measured flow rates, and the sensor output corresponding to the valve opening degree into which the flow rate error is incorporated is obtained. When performing a second half process, the sensor output corresponding to the valve opening degree obtained in the first half process is written into the memory of the valve device whose flow rate is not measured.Type: GrantFiled: March 3, 2016Date of Patent: July 10, 2018Assignee: DENSO CORPORATIONInventors: Yasutoshi Kameda, Osamu Shimane

Publication number: 20150171536Abstract: An electrical connector for connecting to a flexible/flat circuit board includes a housing having a cavity, contacts disposed in the cavity of the housing, and a metal shield mounted to the housing. Locking members are attached to the housing and having resilient locking projections disposed in the cavity. When a flexible/flat circuit is inserted into the cavity, openings/notches formed on the flexible/flat circuit are engaged with the locking projections such that the flexible/flat circuit is secured to the housing. The shield is rotatable relative to the housing and engaging to the locking members. When at an open position, the shield presses against the locking members to deflect and push the locking projections away from the cavity such that the flexible/flat circuit is disengaged from the locking projections and can be detached from the connector.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 2, 2013Publication date: June 18, 2015Inventors: Yasutoshi Kameda, Motomu Kajiura, Masashiko Motoyama

Patent number: 8459224Abstract: An intake manifold is located on a downstream side of a throttle valve in an intake passage. A switching valve is placed on an upstream side of a connection between a communication conduit and an outlet of a lower portion of a surge tank of the intake manifold and is adapted to open or close the communication conduit. A control device controls the switching valve to open or close the switching valve. The control device closes the switching valve when an operational state of an engine is in one of idling time, accelerating driving time and high speed driving time of a vehicle, and the control device opens the switching valve when the operational state of the internal combustion engine is in decelerating driving time of the vehicle.Type: GrantFiled: March 3, 2011Date of Patent: June 11, 2013Assignee: Denso CorporationInventors: Akihiro Harada, Masao Ino, Yasutoshi Kameda
