  • Patent number: 6582013
Abstract: In a structure for assembling lamps 30 to 32 and a wire harness for those lamps onto a body ceiling 2 of a vehicle body 1, the lamps 30 to 32 and the wire harness for the lamps are assembled to a sub-frame 25 in advance, and electrically connected to each other in advance. In the assembling work, the sub-frame 25 is assembled to the body ceiling 2 of the vehicle body 1, whereby the lamps 30 to 32 and the wire harness for the lamps are assembled to the body ceiling 2 by one assembling work.

  • Patent number: 6420693
Abstract: In the foreign object insertion detector device, the light (infrared rays) is transmitted into the internal space 13 of a tube body 11 implanted into a weather strip 9 and formed of elastic material and, if there occurs the insertion of a foreign object, then the foreign object produces a pressing force and applies the pressing force to the tube body 11 to thereby deform the tube body 11. If the tube body 11 is deformed in this manner, then the quantity of the light transmitted through the internal space 13 is caused to decrease. By judging whether a decrease in the quantity of the light transmitted through the internal space 13 is present or absent, the insertion of the foreign object can be detected.

  • Patent number: 6100943
Abstract: A display device for a transportation includes: a display unit displaying a display image on front and rear face sides, the display images displayed on the rear face side being in mirror image relationship with each other; and an optical member for inverting the display image displayed on the rear face side; wherein the display image displayed on the front face side is directly seen by a driver and the display image displayed on the rear face side is inverted by the optical member, so as to see in the same direction of the display image displayed on the front face side. The above display unit may be constituted by a light source having plural color spectra; an attenuation filter in which a transmittance for light emitted from the light source can be partly changed by an external signal; and a transparent light guide plate which guides light emitted from the light source to at least one of front and rear faces of the attenuation filter.
