Abstract: A toilet device includes a private part cleaning device, a warm air dying device, and a shutter and, when drying a private part using the warm air drying device, the shutter is configured to rotate such that a rear surface is directed toward an upper side and open an outlet, and the warm air drying device is configured to blow out warm air from the outlet to the rear surface of the shutter directed to the upper side and to cause the warm air guided by the shutter to be blown out to the private part side.

Abstract: A method for removing odors produced in a toilet main unit of a toilet is made available. Specifically, a deodorizing unit having an air expulsion port and an air suctioning port is provided in a rear portion of the toilet main unit, and air is circulated by expelling air through the expulsion port such as to laterally swirl the air along an inner surface of the toilet's bowl, and by suctioning swirled returning air via the suctioning port. Deodorization is carried out in the course of circulating the air.

Abstract: This toilet deodorizing method includes forming a lateral swirl flow of air laterally swirling along an inner surface of a toilet main body and a traversal flow of air traversing the inside of the toilet main body, by discharging air into the toilet main body of a toilet through a discharge port and suctioning air in the toilet main body through a suction port; and deodorizing an odor in the toilet main body by using a deodorizing cartridge (deodorizing device) for eliminating an odorous component of air which flows due to the lateral swirl flow and the traversal flow and is suctioned through the suction port.
