  • Patent number: 5686051
Abstract: Provided is an ozone water production apparatus capable of easily continuously obtaining ozone water having a high concentration by a water electrolytic process using a noble metal electrode which has been considered to have a low ozone generation efficiency without using a lead compound. An ozone water production apparatus in which an anode electrode and a cathode electrode to which a DC voltage is applied are put upon one surface and the other surface, respectively, of a solid electrolytic film, and water supplied to the anode electrode side is subjected to electrolysis to obtain ozone water, wherein a wire net made of noble metal having an ozone generation catalyst function is used as the anode electrode, and a lath net made of corrosion resistant metal is put upon the outer surface side of the anode electrode, the anode electrode and the lath net being sealed into a jacket having a water inlet on one end and an ozone water outlet on the other end thereof.

  • Patent number: 5302501
Abstract: A silver halide photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, wherein the swelling ratio of the entire hydrophilic colloid layers on the acid polymer-containing layer side of the support of the silver halide photographic material having a hydrophilic colloid layer containing at least one acid polymer (having a carboxyl group-containing monomer unit content of at least 15 mol % or an acid value of at least 1.5 meq/g) on at least one silver halide emulsion layer-coated side thereof is at least 200% in distilled water, said acid polymer being dissolved in water and added to said hydrophilic colloid layer, and the swollen thickness of the above entire hydrophilic colloid layers at the time of the completion of the rinsing stage is not more than 8 .mu.m when said silver halide photographic material is processed (the swelling ratio in distilled water is a value obtained by incubating the photographic material at 40.degree. C.

  • Patent number: 5265590
Abstract: A motor operated massager has a DC motor and an applicator driven thereby at a variable operation speed to apply a massaging action to a user's body during which the motor suffers a varying load in consequence of that the applicator means is pressed at a varying force against the user's body. A control is made to keep the operation speed at a selected level in accordance with a varying load requirement until the load reaches a tolerable load limit which is determined in correspondence to the selected operation speed. When the load increases beyond the tolerable limit, the motor is controlled differently to decrease the operation speed to such an extent as to follow the load increase until the load reaches a predetermined maximum load limit. Upon reaching the maximum load limit, the motor is stalled while limiting a motor current to a fixed level.

  • Patent number: 4424467
Abstract: A cathode-ray tube has a phosphor screen which is made by using a mixture of a long persistent phosphor and a short persistent phosphor. A light emission from the short persistent phosphor has a spike figure, so that a light pen can have sufficient sensitivity therefor, and a light emission from the long persistent phosphor is continuous within the one cycle period of the frame frequency, so that flicker is not noticeable.
