Abstract: Various embodiments include a computer-implemented method for a language modeling, LM. In some examples, the method includes: performing a topic modeling, TM, for at least one document to acquire a first type of topic representation which represents a topic distribution for each word in the at least one document; generating a second type of topic representation based on a predefined number of key terms for each topic of the topic distribution represented by the first topic representation; generating a TM representation comprising the first type of topic representation, the second type of topic representation, or a combination of the first type of topic representation and the second type of topic representation; receiving an input sentence for the LM; and performing the LM on the input sentence based on the TM representation.

Abstract: Various embodiments of the teachings herein include a computer-implemented method for a topic modeling with a continuous learning. The method may include: extracting a current topic representation which represents a topic distribution over vocabulary within a current document; adjusting a size of the vocabulary of the current topic representation based on words used in a topic pool, wherein the topic pool includes past topic representations accumulated by each of past documents; regularizing the current topic representation by controlling a degree of topic imitation with past topic representations, based on comparison of the current topic representation and each of the past topic representations; and accumulating the regularized current topic representation into the topic pool.

Abstract: A method and a system for routing an emergency call to a PSAP [322]. Upon receiving an emergency call request from at least one user device [302] at an eNodeB [304], an ESMLC [310] computes a current location information of the at least one user device [302]. Further, a GMLC [312] identifies a serving cell identifier for the at least one user device [302] based on the current location. Furthermore, an emergency location platform [314] identifies at least one PSAP [322] in a cell site master database [316] based on the serving cell identifier and extracts one or more parameters for the at least one user device [302] from a subscriber information database [318]. Lastly, the emergency location platform [314] provides at least one of the current location information and the one or more parameters to the identified at least one PSAP [322] on an access network channel.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for provisioning radio-based networks with locality rules. In one embodiment, at least one locality rule associated with an organization is accessed. The locality rule(s) require that at least a subset of network traffic for a radio-based network remain within a particular geographic area. The radio-based network includes a radio access network and an associated core network. A topology for the radio-based network is determined based at least in part on the locality rule(s). The radio-based network is provisioned or reconfigured for the organization to have the topology complying with the at least one locality rule.

Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for locality-based network slicing in radio-based networks. In one embodiment, network traffic is received via a network slice in a radio-based network. The radio-based network includes a radio access network and an associated core network. The network slice is associated with at least one locality rule requiring that the network traffic remain within a particular geographic area. It is determined that the radio-based network has resources to comply with the locality rule(s). The network traffic in the radio-based network is acted upon in order to comply with the locality rule(s).

Abstract: A method including determining a zip code of a user using a website that displays items for sale. Determining the zip code of the user can include determining the zip code of the user through at least one of using tracking cookies for the user using the website or geo-sniffing a current session of the user using the website. The method also can include receiving a selection by the user to display information about an item of the items for sale. The method additionally can include determining a shipping speed to display to the user for the item based on (a) a geo-classification for the item, (b) a list of fulfillment nodes that can currently deliver to the zip code of the user within a first shipping speed, and (c) a node-level inventory for the item. The method further can include facilitating a display of the shipping speed to the user. The geo-classification for the item is a first classification at least when a sale margin for the item exceeds a first predetermined margin threshold.
