The timing controller is configured to: determine coupling effect accumulation data of the coupling effects of one or more data voltages transmitted by one or more data lines adjacent to a first pixel to be compensated during a previous frame preceding a current frame and the current frame on a data voltage of the first pixel in the current frame; determine a grayscale compensation value for the first pixel in the current frame based on the coupling effect accumulation data and a gain coefficient; and compensate an original grayscale value of the first pixel in the current frame based on the grayscale compensation value to obtain a target grayscale value.
