Abstract: An umbrella includes a shaft, a sliding assembly, a canopy support rod, a connector rod, and a canopy. The sliding assembly is sleeved over the shaft in a slidable manner, the sliding assembly includes an upper sliding part, a lower sliding part, and a centre sliding part, the upper sliding part is connected to the lower sliding part, and the centre sliding part is located therebetween. A first end of the connector rod is connected to the centre sliding part in a hinged manner, and a second end of the connector rod is connected, in a hinged manner, to a sliding connection assembly disposed on the canopy support rod; the canopy is disposed on the canopy support rod. When the umbrella is closed, a wet surface of the canopy is folded inwards to the shaft, and the canopy support rod is turned outwards to be folded to the shaft.
