Abstract: A grasping forceps for an endoscope including a flexible insertion section, an operating wire adapted to pass through the insertion section and to be advanced and retreated in accordance with the operating of an operating section connected with a hand-end side end portion thereof and at least four elastic grasping members of different lengths arranged at the leading end portion of the operating wire and having the habit of flexing such that leading end grasping portions formed at their leading end portions respectively spread outwardly from the central position of the insertion section.
