Abstract: A visualized computer platform operating condition displaying device is proposed, which is designed for use with a computer platform for providing a visualized operating condition displaying function to the user, and which is characterized by the use of a specially-arranged light-emitting array module composed of a plurality of light-emitting units positioned at an easily-seen location on the external side of the computer platform, which can be activated to generate various forms of light-based signaling messages to indicate various operating conditions in the computer platform. By viewing the different patterns and colorizations of the light beams from the light-emitting array module, the user is able to know the various operating conditions in the computer platform and take early care on the computer platform in the event of an emergency condition in the computer platform.

Abstract: A multimedia device adapted for use on portable computers is movably mounted on a portable computer which consists of a first member and a second member that are openable and foldable relative to each other. When the portable computer is opened, the multimedia device may be turned to a use position. The multimedia device has a latch member turnable to latch and couple the first and second members in a closed condition when they are moved too close to each other for folding.

Abstract: An earphone device with vibration capability is provided. The earphone device can apply to a portable electronic device having a satellite navigation system and is mainly composed of vibration units in the earphone devices. The vibration units can be utilized to realize the vibrations of the earphone device in different manners, according to the incoming call instruction signals and navigation direction instruction signals, thus informing the user of an incoming call and the direction to the destination.

Abstract: A video program subtitle text recording method and system is proposed, which is s designed for use in conjunction with a video playback platform for providing a video program subtitle text recording function that allows the user to record the subtitle text embedded in a video program displayed on the video playback platform into an electronic text file, so that the user can later retrieve the electronic text file and view the subtitle text through a computer platform. This feature allows the user to automatically record all the subtitle text in a video program into an electronic text file without requiring the user to do shorthand writing, and is therefore advantageous to use.

Abstract: An electronic device having a modularized press key disposed therein. The electronic device is provided with a switch, and the modularized press key is composed of a key cap, an identification part, and an extension part. The key cap is provided with a connection hole and is disposed in the electronic device and facing the switch. The identification part is disposed in the connection hole, and the extension part has a specific color and is engaged to the identification part in a specific direction. The other end of the extension part is pressed against the switch. As such, through the uniqueness of the assembly and the distinction of the colors, the fool-proof assembly and fault inspection and detection of the modularized press key are achieved.

A plurality of word pronunciation files is stored in the word pronunciation database, with each of the word pronunciation files having its corresponding word pronunciation parameter; a plurality of word characteristic pronunciation files is provided in the word characteristic database, with each of the word characteristic pronunciation files having its own corresponding word characteristic parameter. Firstly, the system is to read a string of words through a read module. Then, the processing module is to read the word pronunciation file and word characteristic pronunciation file based on the word pronunciation parameter and word characteristic parameter corresponding to the word.

Abstract: A rechargeable and pluggable electric power storage device used as a backup battery for an electronic device is provided, which is used for both charging and plugging in, i.e., the electric power is stored through charging; after having been charged, the rechargeable and pluggable electric power storage device serves as an independent backup battery and is connected and used to supply power in parallel and in series. Abstract: An electronic device having a modularized press key disposed therein. The electronic device is provided with a switch, and the modularized press key is composed of a key cap, an identification part, and an extension part. The key cap is provided with a connection hole and is disposed in the electronic device and facing the switch. The identification part is disposed in the connection hole, and the extension part has a specific color and is engaged to the identification part in a specific direction. The other end of the extension part is pressed against the switch. The cover plate is also formed with several removable portions that can be removed and formed with openings for exposing a second group of keys. The base adopts different cover plates formed with different openings. Therefore, the cost of preparing different bases can be saved. Further, different customer's choices can be easily satisfied by just selecting suitable cover plates. The assembly change is easily achieved.

Abstract: A display device adopted for use on data processing equipment includes a hollow case for housing a turnable axle and an elastic element, a pliable LCD screen wound around the peripheral surface of the axle, and a retaining member fastening to one side of the pliable LCD screen to receive a force from users to pull and turn the axle so that the LCD screen may be stretched outside the case to a use position, and receive image signals from the data processing equipment through a connection port located on one side of the case to generate and display pictures. The elastic element provides a stretch returning elastic force to drive the axle to turn in a reverse direction to wind the LCD screen in a retraction position in the case.

Abstract: The present invention discloses an electronic device having dual adjustable press switches and its method, wherein two adjustable press switch components on an electronic device are used for pivotally coupling a main system and a LCD screen thereof, and the press switches are coupled to a power saving control unit and a screen switching unit in the main system by an electric wire. When one press switch is adjusted to an angle and pressed, a power saving signal will be sent to the power saving control unit to turn off the back light of the LCD screen and set the electronic device to the power saving mode. When the other press switch is adjusted to another angle and pressed, a screen switching signal will be sent to the screen control unit for switching the screen into a minimized screen mode.

When one press switch is adjusted to an angle and pressed, a power saving signal will be sent to the power saving control unit to turn off the back light of the LCD screen and set the electronic device to the power saving mode.
