  • Publication number: 20240424952
Abstract: Battery management techniques for performing cell balancing for a high voltage (HV) battery system of an electrified vehicle include detecting an ignition-off transition whereby the electrified vehicle is transitioned to a park state and subsequently powered off, during the ignition-off transition, obtaining a set of measured parameters including at least (i) voltages of a plurality of HV battery cells of the HV battery system and (ii) a state of charge (SOC) of a low voltage (LV) battery system of the electrified vehicle, and after the electrified vehicle is subsequently powered off, performing cell balancing of voltages of the plurality of HV battery cells of the HV battery system using the set of measured parameters, wherein the performing of cell balancing of the voltages of the plurality of HV battery cells extends a useful life of the HV battery system.

  • Publication number: 20200200813
Abstract: The invention discloses an online diagnosis method for transformer winding deformation position, including: (1) collecting a transformer with known winding state and decomposing into several position sub-samples; (2) performing feature extraction on each position sub-sample with information entropy, adding with label indicating deformation and inputting into support vector machine to train diagnosis model; (3) decomposing a transformer under diagnosis into 9 position subsamples in the way of step (1), performing feature extraction of step (2) and inputting into the diagnostic model trained in step (2); (4) outputting diagnosis result from the support vector machine about whether the position sub-samples of the transformer is deformed.

  • Publication number: 20170368531
Abstract: An adsorbent for halogenated anaesthetics includes: an inorganic material; and an organic material providing a framework for the inorganic material. The inorganic material may be chromium and the organic material may be terephthalic acid. The adsorbent may be formed or configured such that the adsorbent includes coordinatively unsaturated sites or such that the inorganic material may form octahedral structures. The adsorbent is formed or configured to be substantially regenerated at approximately room temperature and to provide selectivity for sevofluorane in water vapour of approximately 1.0. A method of producing an adsorbent includes: selecting an appropriate chemical containing an inorganic material; selecting an organic material to provide a framework for the inorganic material; dissolving the base chemical in water; mixing the organic material with the dissolved base chemical; heating the mixture; filtering the mixture to remove excess organic material; and drying the filtrate.

  • Patent number: 8505094
Abstract: Detection of malicious URLs in a Web page retrieved by a computer user is based in a backend security service or upon the user's computer. The HTML code download by the user is first scanned to detect any embedded links such as URLs found in frames or scripts. Features related to the layout of such a URL (position, visibility) are identified. Features related to the referring nature of the URL (page rank of parent, page rank of child) are identified. Features indicating the relevancy between the content of the parent Web page and the content of the Web page identified by the embedded URL identified. Each set of features is transformed into a binary vector and these vectors are fed into a decision engine such as a classifier algorithm. The classifier algorithm outputs a score indicating whether or not the suspect URL (and the Web page to which it links) is malicious or not. The user may be warned by a display message.

  • Patent number: 7141587
Abstract: Indazole compounds that modulate and/or inhibit the activity of certain protein kinases are described. These compounds and pharmaceutical compositions containing them are capable of mediating tyrosine kinase signal transduction and thereby modulate and/or inhibit unwanted cell proliferation. The invention is also directed to the therapeutic or prophylactic use of pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds, and to methods of treating cancer and other disease states associated with unwanted angiogenesis and/or cellular proliferation, such as diabetic retinopathy, neovascular glaucoma, rheumatoid arthritis, and psoriasis, by administering effective amounts of such compounds.

  • Publication number: 20060037216
Abstract: A boot for a skate has a shoe frame and a shoe sheath. The shoe frame has a heel shank and an insole. The shoe sheath is mounted on the shoe frame and has a sidewall, an internal soft pad and a leather upper cover. The sidewall has an internal chamber. The internal soft pad is made of resilient material and has multiple air vents defined through the internal soft pad. The air vents improve the ventilation of the sidewall to make a sole of a foot inside the sidewall feel comfortable without sweating easily and also keep the sole from becoming unhealthy.
