  • Patent number: 5731552
Abstract: Interference between sound waves of different frequencies in a speaker system having a woofer and associated transmission tube are eliminated by securing a sound absorbing diaphragm to the output end of the tube to absorb sharp and high frequency sound waves while permitting low frequency sound waves to be transmitted through the diaphragm.

  • Patent number: 5550926
Abstract: An overlap sound case composes of a main sound case which contains speakers and the required electric circuit, and a plural number of subordinate sound chests. A subordinate sound chest is a hollow tube and is in different size sequentially such that the main sound case and all other subordinate sound chests can be housed within the largest subordinate sound chest to facilitate moving or storage. When in use the main sound case is disposed on top of a small subordinate sound chest which in turn is disposed on top of a larger subordinate sound chest to form a pagoda like sound case assembly, Thus to enhance low frequency resounding quality. The main sound case and each subordinate sound chest have an opening formed on the bottom wall, have a connection recess formed on the top of a side wall and have a protrudent flange formed outwardly at each side of the bottom wall.

  • Patent number: 5312019
Abstract: A freshness keeping cup including a cup body and a check valve disposed therein. A U-shaped fixing inner sleeve member and a fixing outer sleeve member are secured with the lower portion of the cup body. A leakproof ring and a top flange of a soft bellows member are clamped between the bottom of the inner sleeve member and a top surface of an upper slide sleeve of a slide assembly. An outer lower surface of a top flange of the upper slide sleeve abuts against an inner upper surface of the bottom portion of the outer sleeve member. A top flange of the middle slide sleeve is engaged in a bottom flange of the upper slide sleeve and a top flange of the lower slide sleeve is engaged in a bottom flange of the middle slide sleeve. An upward inward projection is formed on the top flange of the lower slide sleeve. Engaging grooves are formed on lower inner portion of the lower slide sleeve for engaging with corresponding engaging hooks of a bottom cover for securing the same.

  • Patent number: 5231672
Abstract: A waved out-diffusion triangular beam-typed resonant board includes a resonant board body, an upper board, a lower board and a paper bobbin. The resonant board body is formed bypressing with waves diffusing outwards horizontally at close intervals from its center and having, connection between peak and valley in straight line. The upper board is adhered to the to and the lower board is adhered to the bottom of the resonant board body so that application of force from the top or bottom will not deform or bend the resonant board. The paper bobbin is adhered to a round hole at the center of the resonant board body. Since vibration will apply a force at the top and bottom of the resonant board, but the resonant board body has a strength to withstand the vibration without any deformation the requirement for a good thin-type low frequency speaker are met.

  • Patent number: 5212734
Abstract: A shoulder-mount speaker and audio equipment mainly consists of a pair of speaker cabinets, a soft collar member, velcro strap, and a retaining bag. The collar member has fastening means provided at its two ends to allow it to securely circle around the user's neck. The retaining bag hangs below the fastening means and connects to the same with an extending strip member for accommodating a light, thin, and small audio unit. The speaker cabinets are designed in such a manner that they are suitable for separately riding on the user's shoulders with their speakers facing upward and near the user's ears. The velcro strap may firmly attach to velcro pieces separately fixed onto the underside of the speaker cabinets and the inner surface of the soft collar member so that the speaker cabinets, the velcro strap, and the collar member can securely connect together and the speaker cabinets are allowed to be adjusted to a most comfortable position the user prefers.

  • Patent number: 5207250
Abstract: A container having a contractible body for storing a liquid is provided with a nonreturn valve in a neck outlet to permit dispensing of the liquid from the container while preventing external air or liquid from flowing into the container in order to preserve the freshness of any residual liquid. The collapsibility of the container provides indication of any residual liquid volume and plural empty containers may be joined together to minimize space occupancy and facilitating recycling.

  • Patent number: 5204501
Abstract: A synchronous common polar resonant wall type speaker cabinet comprises a speaker fixed to its front board, and one or more resonance means on the other wall boards, in which each resonance means includes an air pressure compensation chamber surrounded by a rigid conductive hood, a compensation resonance chamber surrounded by a rigid wall board, a resonance plate between the air pressure compensation chamber and the compensation resonance chamber, a soft expansion gasket located between the resonance plate and the rigid conductive hood, and another soft expansion gasket between the rigid conductive hood and the rigid back board so that the resonance plate can oscillate by changing of air pressure in the air pressure compensation chamber, and hence a surrounding sound effect superior to that available from matrix speaker system is obtained with only a speaker without any increase of driving power.
