Abstract: A study monitoring system and method using instant communication tools includes a sending setup module to receive a sending type confirmed by a user and store a corresponding account name; a communication linking module to establish a corresponding communication link based on the sending type; an information collecting module to collect a user's study information; a text generating module to edit sending contents and generate a sending web page based on the studying information; and an information sending module to send the sending web page to an instant communication tool and enable study monitors to know instantly the software user's actual study habits.

Abstract: The specification discloses a typewriting sentence learning system and the corresponding method with hint profolio. A hint module output a combination of hints in a sentence database. A result comparison module compares the sentence entered by the learner with the correct answer and sends the comparison result to a level tuning module. The level tuning module then adjusts the difficulty of the problems. Since the invention increases the learning difficulty because of the learner has to type in his or her answer, the learner does not only improve in the sentence organization ability but also the typewriting ability.

When commands input in clients by customers are transferred to the web server for interpreting, assignments such as tutorial interfaces, courses, review intervals, or even examination questions are then provided by the server according to the commands. The disclosed system and method permits customers to get into a custom-made or a review mode for design/assign and review, respectively. The customers may assign tutorial interfaces, courses, and review intervals in the custom-made mode and study courses or receive testing via examination questions according to previous determinations in the review mode. Additionally, when customers next time enter the disclosed system, the tutorial interfaces previously assigned will be shown for tutorial purpose.

Abstract: A verb tense teaching system using multimedia and its method are disclosed. The invention runs on a computer executable hardware platform. By integrating multimedia technologies and verb tenses by a computer storage medium, users can more readily learn verb tenses. The invention combines multimedia data and verb tenses data so that users can adjust a time unit to present different multimedia data for learning verb tenses.
