  • Publication number: 20170220742
Abstract: Networks and methods include computers that receive electronic healthcare information from a provider, identify a patient in the received information, and address and deliver an update to the patient and/or a related party. The address is determined from a database that includes information for the patients, including internal, governmental, and proprietary private databases. The update may be delivered along with a healthcare alert to subscribing parties, such that a patient will be made aware that their healthcare information has been shared and related parties can take action with regard to the patient. The update is customizable with any information from the healthcare information and databases and information from subscribing parties and can be further customized based on the addressee. The update can be generated in real-time or following a delay and delivered via any electronic or hard-copy means by the computer.
