    Abstract: An airship dynamic adaptive harness is provided to stabilize airships and particularly a tethered aerostat in high winds and atmospheric changes. A novel adaptive device accommodates the supply of a lift gas and simultaneously controls opposing cables in a tethered harness with a cascade control system that provides an immediate and particularly the dynamic control of roll, yaw and particularly the pitch of the aerostat in response to real time environmental flight conditions and impart stability to the airship in high winds using a stability zone geometric suspension control system and enhance the duration of in flight missions. A lifting gas replenishment system and particularly a ground based lifting gas replenishment system adds long duration deployment to the dynamic adaptability to high wind conditions for long term deployment.

    Abstract: A motor is provided that is capable of electronically switching between operating in a high torque mode and a low torque mode. The high torque mode may be switched reluctance mode and the low torque mode may be synchronous reluctance mode. The motor has a stator having two sets of armature windings, and a rotor having two sets of flux barriers each adapted to shape a magnetic flux distribution generated by a corresponding one of the sets of armature windings. The stator may comprise a plurality of teeth circumferentially spaced apart from one another around a rotation axis of the motor. The armature windings may include switched reluctance armature windings, each wrapped around a single stator tooth, and synchronous reluctance windings, each wrapped around multiple adjacent stator teeth. An inverter and controller may be connected to each set of armature windings for controlling the electronic switching of the armature windings.

The apparatus is operated as a four-port counter-flow heat exchanger where two different fluids are exchanging heat based on the inlet ports of both fluids being on opposite sides and the outlet ports of both fluids are also on opposite sides of the evaporator and condenser.

A third node receives a first signal from a first node over the current generation network, a second signal that is a retransmission of the first signal from a second node over the current generation network, and network dimensional parameters from the first node and/or the second node over the previous generation network. The network dimensional parameters enable the third node to determine precise locations of the first node and the second node. Using a function of the network dimensional parameters, the third node can correlate the first signal and the second signal and generate a simplified signal therefrom.
