  • Patent number: 8925701
Abstract: A clutch by-wire capable of switching any number of clutch circuits and is capable of distributing rotary movement of a single rotary source simultaneously to any combination of the clutch circuits without stopping the rotary source, where a direction of rotary movement received by any of the clutch circuits does not depend on directions of rotary movements received by the other clutch circuits of the combination.

  • Patent number: 8453300
Abstract: A handling apparatus comprising an object, at least one band, and at least one detachable handle. A desired number of the handles can be put on any of the bands, and positions of the handles may be adjusted within the bands. The handles put on each of the bands are secured to the object simultaneously and without user intervention when user secures the band to the object. The handles may comprise detachable gripping members which can be oriented differently about the object after the handles are secured to the objects by the bands. The handles and the bands may be reused with differently configured objects. As the result, the device is economic, ergonomic, and easy to use.

  • Patent number: 8457808
Abstract: An automatic delivery system for an infrastructure comprising passenger transportation, freight delivery, electrical grid, oil, gas, water pipelines, communication, sewer removal, etc. The automation at the current state of technology is mostly achieved by enclosing the delivery system inside of an enclosure for achieving automatic weather independent transportation and eliminating costs related to protecting the aforementioned infrastructure components from outside elements. In addition, the system is simple enough to avoid traffic and collisions automatically by processing in real time just a single piece of information: a location of each vehicle; as the result, the system is inexpensive since no hardware is necessary for between-vehicles communications, for road condition detection, for GPS, etc. Plus every person will be able to use transportation on-demand with or without sharing a commute and at a desired comfort level including but not limited to entertainment, exercise, working on the go, etc.

  • Patent number: 8042651
Abstract: A portable leveling device capable of supporting any types of ladders, scaffolds, and other objects requiring leveled support regardless of object size when a plurality of the devices is used. The device may be deployed by one hand automatically and instantly quick over a terrain of virtually any profile. The device is capable of projecting an extension ladder position eliminating human error and reducing deployment time when the ladder is actually positioned. The device is capable of indicating deployment faults before use and allows visual inspection of the parts at fault without disassembling. The device is lightweight, can be easily carried with one hand, and stored compactly.

  • Patent number: 7878110
Abstract: An apparatus which serves as a single utensil allowing to gradually adjust vapor escape, liquid drainage speed, and particle drainage and filtering. A few of the apparatus applications are cooking utensils, pitchers, drinking cups, gardening watering and fertilizing cans, etc. The apparatus comprises a vessel having pouring regions and a lid having draining and solid regions. In use, the solid regions of the lid must be aligned with the vessel pouring regions, which is the non-straining or opened position with no vapor release. If the lid is rotated in either direction, it slides into a locking engagement with the vessel until the desired draining regions of the lid are aligned with the vessel pouring regions. This is the straining or locked position where a desirable degree of steam or liquid and particles can be released.

  • Patent number: 7793389
Abstract: An adjustable handling apparatus comprising an object to handle and at least one detachable handle. The object comprises at least one attachment part. Each of the handles comprises one handle body or a plurality of connected handle bodies. Each handle body comprises a gripping part and at least one attachment part. Attachment parts comprise a predetermined number of engagement components. Each of handle engagement components is adapted to engage with each of predetermined object engagement components allowing the handle to be oriented about the object differently for maximum comfort. The density of the engagement components limits the number of positions the handle can be oriented about the object. Once the handle engagement components are engaged with the desired object engagement components, the handle is locked to the object automatically. The handle must be unlocked manually in order to be detached from the object.
