    Abstract: A vehicle alarm system for alerting occupants when an infant is left unattended on a child seat within a vehicle. The system comprising a plurality of buckles disposed on the child seat, at least one switch coupled to the plurality of buckles, a visual alerting device, a speaker, and wherein when at least one buckle of the plurality of buckles is engaged for a predetermined time period after a vehicle ignition is turned-off, the at least one switch transmits a signal activating the visual alerting device and the speaker.
