Abstract: Content playback devices are presented including: a processor; an input component for receiving content and for receiving configuration instructions; an output component for outputting content; a user interface component having a physical user interface, where the physical user interface includes, a number of player control buttons, and a number of content mapped playback buttons; an internal content component for providing content from a removable media; and a data storage component for storing at least loaded content. In some embodiments, each of the number of content mapped playback buttons further include: an insert sleeve for receiving an insert identifying content mapped to the content mapped playback button.
