Abstract: Systems and methods to preview only selected items from a document are provided. In example embodiments, a selection of one or more selected items from within a document is received. One or more selected items may have an interactive function (e.g., animation, hyperlink, video display, trigger) applied to or associated with it. The selected one or more items are then displayed within a preview display performing the interactive function, whereby no non-selected items from the document are displayed in the preview display. Preview may also allow preview of the selected items without any interactive function being performed.

Abstract: A system implements a style within a graphical user interface application by defining a style containing sets of attributes, each set respectively associated with a different type of display element. A user, using the system, defines a display element for display within the graphical user interface. The system then applies, to the display element, respective attributes of the style that correspond to a type of the display element; and displays the display element in accordance with the applied respective attributes of the style.
