  • Patent number: 8902583
Abstract: A holding structure and a portable electronic apparatus therewith are disclosed. The holding structure includes a mount structure and a movable member. The mount structure includes a constraining portion having an accommodating space and an opening. The movable member includes a carrier having an engaging structure. When an end portion of a pencil object is inserted into the constraining portion from the opening to be accommodated together with the carrier in the accommodating space, the constraining portion constrains deformation of the engaging structure such that the engaging structure is engaged with the end portion. The end portion is therefore hardly extracted out. When the carrier departs from the accommodating space, the engaging structure and the end portion are disengaged. The end portion is therefore easily extracted out. The invention uses structure to constrain deformation, which can provide stable holding strength without any metal spring.

  • Patent number: 8723064
Abstract: A button mechanism includes a casing. A lock hole and an engaging portion are formed and disposed on a bottom of the casing, and a plurality of open slots is formed on a lateral wall of the casing. The button mechanism further includes a plurality of buttons respectively disposed on the corresponding open slots, a fixing component, and a supporting component. An end of the supporting component is engaged with the engaging portion. The supporting component includes a first part whereon a piercing hole is formed. The fixing component pierces through the piercing hole and the lock hole to fix the first part on the bottom of the casing. The supporting component further includes a second part connected to the first part and contacting against the plurality of first buttons for constraining movements of the plurality of buttons relative to the casing.

  • Patent number: 8568151
Abstract: A concealable connector disposed in a housing of an electronic device includes two upright sidewalls, a guiding groove, a guiding rod, and a sliding module. The upright sidewalls are spaced apart from each other and are disposed in the housing. The guiding groove is formed in the housing and is interposed between the upright sidewalls. The guiding rod has a first end extending slidably into the guiding groove, and a second end connected to the sliding module. The sliding module has input/output connectors disposed therein. The sliding module is slidable relative to the upright sidewalls between a slid-out state, in which the sliding module projects outwardly of the housing and the input/output connectors are exposed from the housing, and a concealed state, in which the input/output connectors are concealed by the housing.
