  • Publication number: 20230392768
Abstract: A highly efficient light extraction system for LED chip arrays, in which a multi-function domed lens overlays the LED chip array. A lower portion of the multi-function domed lens acts as a reflector, capturing wide-angle light emitted by the LED chips. An upper portion of the multi-function domed lens provides the function of a refractive lens. The multi-function domed lens provides improved light extraction efficiency over prior art embodiments, greater total light output, as well as a narrower light distribution pattern, with increased light intensity at the center of the beam.

  • Patent number: 9130280
Abstract: A phased-array smart antenna for transmitting an electronic wave signal having a wavelength includes a first antenna, a second antenna, and a third antenna. The first antenna, the second antenna, and the third antenna form a triangle and are respectively located at three vertices of the triangle. The first antenna, the second antenna, and the third antenna are activated at the same time for transmitting the electronic wave signal.

  • Publication number: 20140166081
Abstract: A solar cell includes a semiconductor substrate, a back electrode layer and a front electrode layer including a first bus bar, a second bus bar, first finger bar units, second finger bar units, first interconnecting bars, and second interconnecting bars. The first finger bar units are spaced apart from the second finger bar units. Each of the first finger bar units has first finger bars and a first auxiliary bar connected to the first finger bars. Each of the second finger bar units has second finger bars and a second auxiliary bar connected to the second finger bars. Each first interconnecting bar interconnects two adjacent first finger bar units. Each second interconnecting bar interconnects two adjacent second finger bar units.

  • Publication number: 20120074887
Abstract: A back EMF measuring method for multi-phase BLDC motor is proposed, which includes a driving process and a measuring process. The driving process energizes a plurality of phase windings of a detected motor by driving signals generated by a computing unit to rotate a rotor of the detected motor to a predetermined speed. The measuring process selects one of the phase windings as a target phase winding, continuously sends the driving signals to the phase windings other than the target phase winding but stops the driving signal sent to the target phase winding by the computing unit, and measures the back EMF of the target phase winding by a signal sensing unit.

  • Patent number: 7619582
Abstract: A printed monopole smart antenna is provided. The smart antenna includes a monopole antenna having a plane for receiving and transmitting a signal, two conductors for directing and/or reflecting the signal to the monopole antenna respectively, and a circuit device electrically connected between the first and second conductors, for selectively switching the first and second conductors to determine an operation mode of the smart antenna. The smart antenna further has at least a groove in the ground for concentrating the current distribution and solving the influence of the antenna gain to the ground size. The sequence of the antenna pattern of the smart antenna is randomly arranged, depending on user's situation. When a plurality of printed monopole smart antennas are disposed on different directions of the WLAN AP/router, the omnidirectional radiation pattern will be obtained and the antenna gain will be increased.
