    Abstract: A method for fast starting up a television display function and a television system are provided. In the method, when a television device is powered on, the television system operated in the television device performs a hardware initialization and a fast start-up procedure. In the fast start-up procedure, a set of picture-quality parameters is loaded to the television system from a storage circuit. Display parameters of the television device are configured according to the picture-quality parameters, accordingly, a display of the television device starts to display a picture. The picture can be produced from image signals received through an external source such as a high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) or a Display Port, a type-C interface, or other sources of the television device. The picture-quality parameters are collected and stored in the storage circuit during operation of the television system after the operating system booting procedure is completed.

    Abstract: A method for matching parameters applied to a display device and a circuit system that performs the method are provided. In the method, when a display device is activated, a circuit system connects to a panel module of the display device for retrieving parameters from a panel memory. The parameters are such as video display parameters, camera image parameters, speaker audio parameters, and microphone receiving parameters. After the parameters are applied to the circuit system, the circuit system operates the display device using the parameters. The data generated by the circuit system can be adjusted for matching new parameters. Afterwards, when the new parameters are applied to the circuit system, video and audio are outputted according to the matched parameters, and the camera and microphone in the panel module are also operated according to the matched parameters.

    Abstract: The invention discloses a color correction method for adjusting the color performance of a display apparatus. The color correction method first displays a plurality of images on a panel of the display apparatus and measures the chromatic value and the luminance of each image so as to obtain the color characteristics of the display apparatus. According to the color characteristics, a corresponding color matrix is generated which is located at the CIE XYZ color space. Next, an output matrix is outputted by performing an operation between the color matrix and a gain matrix. Next, the elements in gain matrix are adjusted in order to have the output matrix be equal to a target matrix substantially. Finally, the display apparatus is set for calibrating the color performance thereof in accordance with the elements of the adjusted gain matrix.
