Abstract: A feature inspection lighting system includes an outer cover having a mounting structure at a first end thereof and defining an outer periphery at a second end thereof. The cover includes an inner surface between the first end and the second end. The inner surface has raised surfaces defined thereon. A plurality of light sources is coupled to the raised surfaces of the inner surface of the cover, and cables to provide electrical power to the light sources is routed between the raised surfaces of the outer cover. The outer periphery of the cover may have a cutout defined therein through which all or part of an object to be inspected can pass.

Abstract: An electronic device and a user interface display method thereof are provided. The method organizes a plurality of computer programs and a web browser executable on the electronic device into a virtual book including a plurality of ordinary pages and a list page. Each ordinary page of the virtual book includes a user interface of one of the computer programs or a web page displayed by the web browser. When one of the ordinary pages is displayed as the current page, the user interface or the web page of the current page is accessible to the user of the electronic device. The list page includes a plurality of entries and each of the entries represents one of the ordinary pages.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method for executing commands in an electronic device, which has a touch sensing element, a keyboard unit and a display. First, the touch sensing element is configured for detecting a touch on one of the keys on the keyboard unit and generating a responsive signal corresponding to the touched key. Afterward, a plurality of items corresponding to the touched key is shown on the display according to the responsive signal. Subsequently, the touch on the key is moved onto another key on the keyboard unit so as to mark one of the items. Finally, a command associated with the marked item is executed when the touch on the key is terminated.

Abstract: A method, a system, and a recording medium for navigating a vehicle are provided. In the present application, a current driving lane of the vehicle is first detected through a lane detection technique. Then, whether the current driving lane conforms to a navigation lane in navigation information is determined. If the current driving lane does not conform to the navigation lane, a notification of direction of the navigation lane relative to the current driving lane is generated. Accordingly, a driver can be instantly notified to switch to the appropriate lane.

Abstract: A route reporting method, system, and a recording medium using the same are provided. The present method detects a touch and draws a path according to a moving trajectory of the touch. When the touch is finished, a dialog block is displayed to insert route mark information in the drawn path. The aforesaid steps are repeated to draw a plurality of paths. When an end signal is received, those paths are assembled to form a complete route map, which is provided for users to search for routes.

Abstract: A method for guiding an operation of an application program, a mobile electronic device, and a computer program product using the method thereof are provided. In the invention, a description page with a plurality of links of an operation guide is opened. An operation interface of the application program is displayed when one of the links is clicked, and a frame of the operation interface is shifted to an operation region corresponding to the clicked link. A switching option is generated in a status bar and linked to the description page. The description page is switched from the operation interface when the switching option is clicked.

A contact corresponding to an input tool on the touch-sensitive display unit is detected. According to the contact position on the touch-sensitive display unit, a plurality of candidate characters/symbols is determined from the characters/symbols, and a specific position where the candidate characters/symbols to be displayed in the touch-sensitive display unit is re-determined. Then, the candidate characters/symbols are displayed at the specific position in the touch-sensitive display unit.
