    Abstract: An edge band cutting device includes a base reciprocated along a direction parallel to a conveying path between a front cutting position and a rear cutting position, a baffle component disposed to the base and having a baffle configured to be reciprocated along a direction parallel to the conveying path between an initial position and a compression position, and reciprocated along a direction perpendicular to the conveying path between a lifting position and a lowering position, and a cutting component disposed to the base and having a saw blade configured to be reciprocated up and down along a cutting path perpendicular to the conveying path. By operation of the baffle component and the cutting component, only one saw blade is used to cut a front protrusion and a rear protrusion of an edge band, such that the structural design is greatly simplified.

    Abstract: An edge banding machine includes a base, and whereon a drive motor including a power outputting shaft, an edge band conveying mechanism having a pneumatic cylinder, a pushing block and an edge band conveying shaft parallel to the power outputting shaft, and a universal bearing. The pushing block is disposed at a terminal end of a telescopic rod of the pneumatic cylinder capable of being driven to lengthen or shorten to make an edge band approach or leave the edge band conveying shaft. Two ends of the universal bearing are connected with the power outputting shaft and edge band conveying shaft respectively, enabling the drive motor to rotate the edge band conveying shaft through the universal bearing. Through the configuration with the universal bearing, the edge band conveying shaft and power outputting shaft can be quickly connected for the completion of the whole edge banding machine assembly.

    Abstract: An edge band fine trimming mechanism of an edge banding machine includes a fixed seat including a scraper installation groove extending vertically, a first feeler wheel assembly including a first feeler wheel vertically and rotatably disposed on the right side of the fixed seat, a second feeler wheel assembly including a second feeler wheel horizontally and rotatably disposed on the bottom side of the fixed seat, and a scraper assembly. The aforementioned scraper assembly is disposed on the fixed seat and includes a blade holder and a blade. The blade holder includes vertical and inclined sections connected with each other. The vertical section is disposed in the scraper installation groove in a vertically movable manner. The blade is disposed at the terminal end of the inclined section. The edge band fine trimming mechanism enables fast positional adjustment for the scraper and the associated feeler wheel.

    Abstract: An edge trimming mechanism of an edge banding machine capable of removing scraps includes a cutting device and an air guiding cover. The cutting device includes a motor having a power outputting shaft, and a cutter mounted at an end of the power outputting shaft. The air guiding cover is hollow-shaped, installed outside the motor, and has air inlet and outlet. The power outputting shaft protrudes out of the air inlet and the cutter is at least partially located out of the air inlet. An air exhausting path is defined between the inner wall of the air guiding cover and the outer wall of the motor. Two opposite ends of the air exhausting path communicate with the air inlet and outlet respectively. By the above-described configuration of the edge trimming mechanism, it is effective in removing the scraps produced by the edge banding machine in the edge trimming process.

The chain engages with the first sprocket and the second sprocket. The chain guide is attached to the foundation and has a guide wheel extending into the chain for pushing against the chain, so that the chain can move between a tensioned position and a relaxed position.
