  • Publication number: 20150303368
Abstract: A method of repairing defect in a superconducting film, a method of coating a superconducting film, and a superconducting film formed by the method are prepared. The method of repairing defect includes detecting the superconducting film during a manufacturing process thereof. When a defect therein is detected, a repairing structure with superconductivity is formed on a position of the defect.

  • Patent number: 8808492
Abstract: A method of joining superconductor materials is described. A microwave chamber including a first heat absorption plate and a second heat absorption plate corresponding to the first absorption plate is provided. A first superconductor material and a second superconductor material are disposed between the first heat absorption plate and the second heat absorption plate in the microwave chamber. The first superconductor material and the second superconductor material have an overlapping region therebetween, and a pressure is applied to the first heat absorption plate and the second heat absorption plate. Microwave power is supplied to the microwave chamber. The first heat absorption plate and the second heat absorption plate transform the microwave power into thermal energy so as to join the first superconductor material and the second superconductor material at the overlapping region.

  • Publication number: 20070151595
Abstract: A solar cell with a superlattice structure and a fabricating method thereof are provided, which includes fabricating a superlattice structure of GaAsN/GaInAs, GaAsN/GaSbAs, or GaAsN/GaInSbAs between a base and an emitter of a middle cell of a triple junction solar cell by a strain-compensation technology. The provided solar cell not only decreases crystalline defects and increases the critical thickness of the crystal, but also makes the energy bandgap of GaAsN and GaInAs reach around the energy of 1.0 eV (electron volt). Hence, the absorption region can be raised to around the energy of 1.0 eV to enhance the efficiency of the solar cell.

  • Publication number: 20070095385
Abstract: The photovoltaic concentrating apparatus includes a supporter and at least one collecting unit positioned on the supporter. The supporter includes a plurality of beams having at least one groove positioned on a side surface of the beam. The collecting unit includes a Fresnel lens and a solar cell module. The Fresnel lens is positioned on the supporter via a loading frame with a wing capable of engaging with the groove of the beam, and the solar cell module is positioned on the supporter via a substrate. Particularly, the supporter includes an upper frame for supporting the Fresnel lens and a bottom frame for supporting the solar cell module.

  • Publication number: 20070044833
Abstract: The present solar energy collector includes a substrate and a plurality of plates assembled on the substrate in a roof manner, wherein the plates include a plurality of protrusions capable of collecting a penetrating solar ray on a solar cell positioned at a predetermined region on the substrate. The solar energy collector may include two trapezoid plates and two triangular plates assembled on the substrate in an inclined manner to form a hip-roof. The solar energy collector may include four trapezoid plates positioned on the substrate in an inclined manner and one rectangular plate positioned on the trapezoid plates to form a mansard roof. The solar energy collector may include six first rectangular plates positioned on the substrate in a hexagonal manner, six second rectangular plates positioned on the first rectangular plates, and a hexagonal plate positioned on the second rectangular plates.
