  • Patent number: 11968512
Abstract: In an example, a speaker device may include a first transducer and a second transducer. The first transducer may include a first diaphragm, a first magnetic circuit, and a first voice coil disposed in a magnetic gap of the first magnetic circuit to cause vibration of the first diaphragm. The second transducer may include a second diaphragm, a second magnet circuit, and a second voice coil disposed in a magnetic gap of the second magnetic circuit to cause vibration of the second diaphragm. Further, the speaker device may include a magnetic plate having a first surface coupled to the first transducer and a second surface coupled to the second transducer. The first surface is opposite to the second surface.

  • Publication number: 20080310295
Abstract: A method for extra appending data in a multiple layer disc is provided. The capacity of the data zone in the multiple layer disc is fixed, and each layer comprises a plurality of appended sessions. When multiple layer disc is mounted, it is determined whether data is appended in zones following a middle zone. If the data is appended in the zones following the middle zone, a first jump address is obtained from a table of extended contents to serve a start address of appending the data. Data is appended to the multiple layer disc. An end address of appending the data is recorded in the table of extended contents to serve a second jump address for a next appending operation.

  • Publication number: 20060280087
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for recovering data from an optical disc with a damaged table-of-contents (TOC) zone by the use of an optical disc drive. The method is, first, to identify a latest valid TOC block from the TOC zone and to find a last known session in accordance with the latest valid TOC block. The last known session is considered as a last possible session. After judgment, if a zone for recording at least one session disc control block (SDCB) of the last possible session is full, a step is performed to detect whether a next session exists. If the next session exists, the detected next session is renewedly considered as the last possible session until the last possible session of which the zone for recording the SDCB is full is found.

  • Publication number: 20060242657
Abstract: An optical drive. The optical drive comprises a tray, a tray transmission mechanism joined with and moving the tray, a first gear, and a transmission element selectively joined with or released from the tray transmission mechanism and the first gear simultaneously. When the transmission element joins the tray transmission mechanism and the first gear simultaneously, rotating the first gear manually drives the transmission element and the tray transmission mechanism so as to move the tray.

  • Publication number: 20060083137
Abstract: A data recording method for recordable disks. The recordable disk includes a non-border area and multiple border areas. Data is recorded in the non-border area and buffer areas in a single data write. Data is then recorded in the border areas of the recordable disk. The single data write requires only one data write initiation and one data write termination.
