  • Publication number: 20070284777
Abstract: A fabrication apparatus and method use a mold for forming a pattern. The fabrication may be related to a thin film transistor (TFT) used for a switching element and a driving element in a display device, such as a liquid crystal display (LCD) or organic electroluminescent display (OELD). The fabrication method and apparatus fabricate a soft mold using a resin layer that is attached to a back plane in substantially a vacuum environment. The resin layer may be irradiated with ultraviolet (UV) light and then detached from a master plate to form a desired pattern. The fabrication process is such that the soft mold is relatively thin and light-weight, but resistant to being damaged.
