    Abstract: A surgical method for gastrocnemius muscle reduction is provided. The method may search for a motor nerve associated with a gastrocnemius muscle of a patient, inserts a probe by penetrating an epidermis around the motor nerve and locates a tip of the probe in the motor nerve, stimulates the motor nerve through supply of an electric signal to the probe, thereby shutting down the motor nerve.
