The processor outputs a content of a first channel received through the communicator, receives information associated with contents of a plurality of channels through the communicator and stores the information in the memory while the content of the first channel is being output, and based on an instruction change the first channel to a second channel while the content of the first channel is output, acquires information associated with the content of the second channel among the stored information associated with the contents of the plurality of channels from the memory, and decodes the content of the second channel received through the communicator by using the acquired information on the content of the second channel and outputs the decoded content.
