  • Publication number: 20090066565
Abstract: The invention provides an aiding data collecting method for a Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) terminal connected to an aiding data server through a wireless connection. Availability of an aiding data is first queried about. Whether the aiding data is in the GNSS terminal is then checked according to the response of the query. An aiding data request is then sent to the aiding data server. An aiding data sent by the aiding data server is then parsed in response to the aiding data request. Finally, the collected aiding data is sent to the GNSS terminal for acquiring and/or tracking satellite signal from at least one GNSS satellite.

  • Patent number: 7084794
Abstract: The present invention discloses a DAC DC offset calibration method and related apparatus. The disclosed method includes the following steps. First, apply a first value and a second value to the DAC to generate a first measurement value and a second measurement value respectively. Then, without using any predetermined parameter, determine a DC compensation value according to the first value, the second value, the first measurement value, and the second measurement value. The DC compensation value is used to calibrate the DAC.

  • Patent number: 7053805
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and related apparatus for compensating a gain mismatch between a first DAC and a second DAC. The second DAC is connected to a gain amplifier. The method includes the following steps. Determine a first gain value corresponding to the first DAC. Control the gain amplifier with a first control value and determine a second gain value corresponding to the second DAC and the gain amplifier. Control the gain amplifier with a second control value and determine a third gain value corresponding to the second DAC and the gain amplifier. Without utilizing a predetermined characteristic parameters, determine a calibration control value according to the first, second, third gain values, and the first and second control values. Control the gain amplifier with the calibration control value to compensate for the gain mismatch between the first DAC and the second DAC.
