  • Publication number: 20110303168
Abstract: An engine includes a camshaft carrying a first intake cam, a second intake cam, and an exhaust cam for selectively driving an intake valve driving member and an exhaust valve driving member, which in turn drive an intake valve and an exhaust valve. The intake valve driving member includes first and second driving members, which form push rollers respectively in engagement with the first and second intake cams and a pressing section in engagement with the intake valve. The first and second driving members form bores communicating each other to form a hydraulic cylinder. First and second pistons are movable within the bores to selectively set the first and second driving members in a condition of being allowed to operate independently or in combination with each other.

  • Publication number: 20110143872
Abstract: An electronic control V-belt continuously variable transmission mechanism is applied in a power transmission system having an engine and support shafts for a driving pulley and a driven pulley, characterized by driving the driving pulley with power supplied by a pulley driving system such that a movable portion of the driving pulley moves axially to the driving-pulley support shaft, thereby enabling a movable portion of a driven pulley connected to the driving pulley to move in response to the axial distance variation, thus changing the rotational speed of the driven pulley. The contact between a cam guide groove of a bearing base of the pulley driving system and a cam guide device is transmitted through rolling friction, and the transmission efficiency is increased by a complex lead angle effect formed between a lead angle of the cam guide groove and a lead screw.

  • Patent number: 7779977
Abstract: A vehicle shifting mechanism configured for actuation of a clutch and gear-shifting of a shift drum in a transmission is disclosed, which includes a camshaft linked to the shift drum; an actuating motor for driving the camshaft to allow the camshaft to make one revolution to shift the shift drum with one gear; and a cam connected to the camshaft to coaxially rotate with the camshaft and abutting against a release bearing actuating element to actuate engagement and disengagement of the clutch. The cam has a symmetrical contour such that the camshaft driven by the actuating motor is capable of making one unidirectional revolution to enable actuation of the clutch and the gear-shifting of the shift drum to occur concurrently.
