  • Patent number: 10100665
Abstract: A method for heating up a steam turbine or for keeping a steam turbine hot, which steam turbine has at least one pressure stage working at an initial pressure or intermediate pressure, at least one final pressure stage which is fluidically connected downstream of the pressure stage and works at a final pressure which is lower than the initial pressure or intermediate pressure, and at least one condenser which is connected downstream of the final pressure stage, wherein steam generated outside the steam turbine is introduced into the pressure stage. After flowing through the pressure stage and bypassing the final pressure stage, the steam is supplied directly to the condenser.

  • Publication number: 20170306801
Abstract: A method for shortening the start-up process of a steam turbine is provided which has a turbine housing and turbine components which are provided inside the turbine housing. The turbine components during operation come into contact with hot steam which flows through the turbine housing and include a turbine shaft which passes axially through the turbine housing. Sealing regions, which during operation of the steam turbine are acted upon by seal steam, are formed between the turbine shaft and the turbine housing. Thermal energy is fed to the steam turbine during a shutdown of said steam turbine, wherein seal steam is fed to the interior of the turbine housing during the shutdown of the steam turbine in order to heat and/or to keep warm the turbine components which are provided in the interior of the turbine housing.

  • Publication number: 20160053615
Abstract: A method for repairing a blade row, wherein the blades have cover plates and a disruptive gap has occurred between the cover plates, wherein in a first method step, a bracing element is arranged in the gap between the cover plates and, in a second method step, the element and the plates are welded together.

  • Publication number: 20150050132
Abstract: A fluid flow machine is provided having a housing composed of a housing upper part and a housing lower part, wherein the housing upper part is connected to the housing lower part via a pin screw and has a cooling duct which is connected, on the one hand, to the flow duct with a vapour at a relative high pressure and, on the other hand, to a cooling duct outlet which is connected to the exhaust steam space.

  • Publication number: 20130294907
Abstract: A tubular housing for a turbomachine is provided. The tubular housing includes two half-tube shells which, lying against one another in two connecting regions overlap partially in each case in the tangential direction of the tubular housing. In order to specify a particularly reliable and permanent connection of the two half-tube shells which additionally develop a particularly satisfactory sealing action, it is proposed that, in order to interlock the half-tube shells in the tangential direction, in relation to the tube axis of the housing, at least one eccentric pin is provided in one or both connecting regions.

  • Patent number: 8202037
Abstract: Disclosed is a steam turbine comprising an exterior housing and an interior housing. The exterior housing and the interior housing are provided with a fresh steam supply duct. A rotor that encompasses several impeller blades and a thrust-compensating piston is rotably mounted within the interior housing. The interior housing is equipped with several guide blades that are disposed such that a flow duct comprising several blade stages, each of which comprises a series of impeller blades and a series of guide blades, is formed along a specific direction of flow. The interior housing is further equipped with a recirculation duct which is embodied as a pipe that communicates between a space located between the interior housing and the exterior housing and the flow duct downstream of a blade stage.
