Patent number: 11691815Abstract: A roller track includes a base, parallel guides, roller support bars placed into their respective guides, and a plurality of rollers removably disposed between the roller support bars. The roller support bars preferably are removably secured to the base via the respective guides which are affixed to the base. The base also can be provided with connecting elements sidewalls thereof such that a plurality of bases of roller tracks can be connected laterally to accommodate any width of shelf or display planogram. Thus, the roller tracks can be used either separately roller tracks or as a continuous mat (i.e. a plurality of roller tracks affixed to adjacent roller tracks). Additionally, dividers can be removably affixed to each roller track via securing members comprising an upper body portion formed via a living hinge and at least one lower connector that removably connects the securing member to the roller track.Type: GrantFiled: December 10, 2021Date of Patent: July 4, 2023Assignee: SUNGAL CORPORATIONInventors: Yeyang Sun, Qing Wei Wang

Publication number: 20220092527Abstract: Disclosed is a system for real-time measurement of inventory on shelves. The system uses light sensors placed in association with the inventory and the shelves to measure in real-time the removal/replacement of inventory from the shelves. When inventory is on the shelves, less light reaches the light sensors. As inventory is removed from shelves, the light sensors receive more light. The difference in light received generates as signal that can be measured, thereby allowing for determining inventory levels on each shelf. The system may be retro-fitted to existing shelving systems, thereby avoiding the cost of purchasing new shelving systems. The system can work on any shelving system, including gravity-feed roller shelf (GRS), flat shelves, and spring loaded pusher shelves, and is unaffected by usual temperatures found in retail establishments and can thus work in both refrigerated and unrefrigerated systems. Also disclosed are related methods.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 2, 2021Publication date: March 24, 2022Inventors: Yeyang SUN, Jiayu SUN

Publication number: 20210321791Abstract: Disclosed are discrete gravity feed merchandise-advancement seats for use on a shelf support. The seats have a width having two sides and a length, a merchandise-advancement mechanism retention element disposed on each side along the length, and a merchandise-advancement mechanism disposed in retention elements. A driver is disposed in combination with the seat. A guide channel on each side of the driver surrounds the two retention elements so that the driver can traverse the length of the seat and provide vertical and horizontal stability to the driver. The seats may have attachment mechanisms on front and rear edges that attach to mating attachment mechanisms proximal the front and rear of the shelf support. Dividers cooperate with the seats to provide merchandise display channels. Attachment mechanisms disposed proximal the front and rear of the shelf support allow for adjustable lateral placement of the seats and dividers.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 4, 2021Publication date: October 21, 2021Inventor: Yeyang SUN

Patent number: 10660435Abstract: Disclosed are rack shelving systems in-door coolers. The rack shelving systems are easily adjusted height-wise between adjacent shelves and can also be quickly adjusted between a flat shelf configuration and a gravity-feed configuration due to the configuration of different length prongs the attach the shelves to uprights that may have an angled surface with a hem be of a or typical U-shape. The rack shelving systems are also expandable width-wise to accommodate any number of cooler doors due to two rows of parallel slots on each upright that are configured to accept the prongs of shelves attached to adjacent uprights. The rack shelving systems very simple in design and are made up of as few as three (3) different parts: uprights, shelves, and cross-member. The rack shelving systems preferably further include feet/wheels for support and mobility.Type: GrantFiled: February 8, 2019Date of Patent: May 26, 2020Assignee: SUNGAL CORPORATIONInventors: Donald J.
